Proof christians are full of crap |
Proof christians are full of crap.
Christians say that "God is love".
But if you ask them another time why God made humans then their standard
answer is - "to have someone to love him" (obviously because all his angels
have left him. No surprise there).
But if God is love then why does he need someone to love him?
Why does 'Love' need 'love'?
Lol.
It would be like the ocean asking for glasses of water.
Then christians say - "He did it not because 'He' needs our love but because
'we' needed to love him".
But the thing is, before we existed we had no needs for anything at all.
He obviously created us to fill his own needs, even though a god that is
everything is not supposed to have any needs because he has whatever he
wants the very instant he desires it, and being 'Love' itself, he needs no
love from anyone.
Heh. Christianity is a big cuckoo factory.

If you allow inconsistency, then there can be no Order.
If you deny the existence of Order, then you cannot prove that you
exist to anyone but yourself. Therefore if you deny the existence of
Order, I will not pay any attention to you, because as you say, there
is no Order, and therefore there is no you.
Aristotle called it the Principle of Consistency. There is one version
for Logic and one for Metaphysics. Both say essentially the same
thing, namely that there can be no ontological contradictions
(contradictions involving the act of Existence, aka "Being") in
objective reality.

It's not quite that simple. Each person adopts a particular
epistemology that enables them to know things. For example, when I
claim something is intuitively obvious, I am asserting what I know
based on the particular Worldview (epistemology plus supporting
ontology) that I have adopted. If you claim otherwise, it is very
likely because you have adopted a fundamentally diferent Worldview,
one which supports your claim.
All thru these discussions I have adopted the Worldview called
Existential Realism. It was the one favored by Aristotle, Aquinas, and
certain Physicists like Einstein, Schrodinger, Planck. It is the
Worldview a Physicist adopts if he intends to be productive.
There are 3 fundamental tenets of Existential Realism:
1) The Principle of Apprehension of Being (aka The Authority of the

2) The Principle of Consistency (aka The Principle of
Non-Contradiction)
3) The Principle of Causality (aka The Principle of Cause and Effect).
Physics requires all three and is supported by all three. IOW, you
must adopt Existential Realism for Physics and if you, Physics will
reward you with new knowledge. There has never been an instance in
Physics where any of those tenets have been violated.
If your Worldview is fundamentally different from the one I adopt,
then it is not at all surprising that you do not find things
intuitively obvious.
