Object: Proof (possibly?) that Jesus Christ was a fictional character
The Bible talks about "Believing in/on the name of Jesus Christ". There is a stress
on the act of believing in the NAME of Jesus in several parts of the New Testament -
as if his NAME is something special.
His name was:
IESOUS CHRISTOS
This can be rearranged to OSIRIS SET CHOUS (CHOUS is Greek for "grave")
The Egyptian myth of Osiris and Set is concerned with "resurrection".
(Matthew, and Matthew alone, says that, as a child, Jesus went to Egypt.)
In one version of the myth of Osiris and Set Osiris is put back together by Isis after
being cut to pieces by Set - with the exception of his penis! He is "resurrected" as a
eunuch.
Now we come to St Peter - who "took over" after Jesus "went to heaven".
St Peter's name was:
SIMWN PETROS
This can be rearranged to MORTWS PENIS (MORTUUS is Latin for "dead")
The above "evidence" leads me to conclude that Christianity originated as a cult
founded by someone who was "good at anagrams".
.... either that or God is something of a joker.

Yeah, I mean he even had the scrabble letters INRI nailed above his head.

"It is fashionable to wax apocalyptic about the
threat to humanity posed by the AIDS virus, 'mad cow'
disease, and many others, but I think a case can be
made that faith is one of the world's great evils,
comparable to the smallpox virus but harder to
eradicate." -- Richard Dawkins
