Proof that liberals are totally full of sh*t. |
Why does the liberal establishment object so vehemently to a "Conscience
Clause" for pharmacists. Why must these pharmacists be forced to sell wares
that will ultimately lead to killing a pre-born baby,( if their conscience
objects to such things ) Whatever became of the First Amendment? More info.

Pharmacists take an oath to dispense medications. Read their Code of

III. A pharmacist respects the autonomy and dignity of each patient.

Or just refuse to dispense the killer pill.
What "killer pill"? That can describe just about anything in the
pharmacy, including aspirin and vitamins. Any of them can kill you if
you are allergic to the medicine or the drug is misused.
RU486 is far safer than most of the things that the pharmacist
dispenses. Therefore, it is not a "killer pill", since the number of
patients killed by it are very low, both in absolute numbers and by any
rate measurement.
The phramacists should not refuse to fulfill a legal prescription
unless he or she can show that doing so is likely to cause an adverse
drug reaction or allegic reaction in the patient for whom the
prescription was prescribed. And such potential reactions can be
checked by other pharmacists. What's more, the pharmacists, on finding
such a potential drug interaction, should be calling the prescribing
physician to get an alternative medication.
That is not the case here. The pharmacists is trying to impose his or
her personal beliefs onto the patient to the patient's detriment, and
in contravention to the patient's freedom of religion. And if the
pharmacist refuses to do his or her job, he or she should be fired.

In simplest terms, a pharmacist's job is to fill prescriptions. That
means any and all legal prescriptions, not just the ones that don't
run counter to the pharmacist's religious beliefs. If the dispensing

Would you object to a conscience clause for soldiers in Iraq? They
would be allowed to opt out of firing on enemy combatants if it
conflicted with their beliefs.
In simplest terms, a soldier's job is to kill more bad guys than bad kill of
ours guys.
In simplest terms, a pharmacist's job is to fill prescriptions. That
means any and all legal prescriptions, not just the ones that don't
run counter to the pharmacist's religious beliefs. If the dispensing
of any type of legally prescribed medication conflicts with one's
personal moral code, then perhaps it's time to consider another line
of work.
Furthermore, suppose a pharmacist believed amphetamines should be legal
to all. Should he be allowed to prescribe them without the burden of
following the law?
Soldiers understand that they are not training to play tiddlywinks.
Pharmacists understand that they're not training to be ministers.
Or at least most of them do.
There are nut cases in all professions, I guess. Most are professional
and leave their "pro-life" mentality at home. J Young and others
applaud those who are irresponsible.

Or if an anti-theist doctor chose to not treat Pat Robertson if Pat had
to undergo surgery?
Or if a racist doctor chose to not treat a black man?
It's called "doing your job." If something about "your job" breaks your
moral code, then I suggest finding a new job. Otherwise, you're
negligent in your duties.

I think this would be a great idea. Are you learning Arabic yet? Get a
head start and make sure you convert to Islam or they will tax you to
death.

How much of your taxes has your Christian God paid for you?

How much of your taxes has your Christian God paid for you?
The Truth has been responsible for all of my income and my taxes and
everything else that I have ever had and ever will have. Without the
Truth, I would never be even capable of ever gaining a single penny to
pay for anything. It is a good thing that the Truth exists. Without the
Truth, you wouldn't even have the ability to ask the question you just
did. Where would we be if we had no Truth? What would we have if there
was no Truth? What would we be if there was no Truth? You should know
the answer to the question you asked, but because you have no idea what
the "Christian God" really is, you ask the wrong question based on the
wrong perception of the "Christian God", without knowing it. You would
be better off keeping God out of your conversation, because one
shouldn't use words he doesn't know the meaning of...but then, you
didn't know you didn't know that you didn't know. That is called a
multiple layered ignorance.

If there was no truth, we could discover nothing because nothing would
be so. How could you run a business if you knew nothing at all?
Impossible. It is only because Truth exists that you are able to ask me
the qeustion you just did.

Fallacy of the false dichotimy and equivocation.
You pretend that facts are the same as Truth, without justification,
and you assume that an absense of what you understand as Truth means
chaos.
How could you run a business if you knew nothing at all?
How can you run a business if you're not omniscient?

If there was no truth,
Equivocation.
You're pretending that Truth is the same as everyday facts.

Not me. On the contrary. Without Truth, there would be no facts. Facts
owe their existence to the truth. Therefore, your accusation is
baseless.
