Object: Proposals for next crucifixion
I was thinking about the various fun crucifixion styles traditionally adopted by
the early disciples - upside down, X shaped cross, etc - and wondered if anyone
had any good ideas for what to do with the next jesus, should he eventually
show up.
My own favourite - a rubber cross - comes from a childhood visual gag. I'm sure
that in the age of segways and bungees, someone can come up with a more exciting
sendoff.

Pope to Cardinal: "I have the good news, and the bad news".
Cardinal: "Tell me the good news so I can be fortified for the bad".
Pope: "Today the Lord God appeared to me and He will return in the
body later this afternoon, establishing the kingdom of God on earth."
Cardinal: "Then what could possibly be the bad news".
Pope: "The thing is she's black".

My own favourite - a rubber cross - comes from a childhood visual gag. I'm sure
that in the age of segways and bungees, someone can come up with a more exciting
sendoff.

I'd be inclined to keep him, provided he could be tried for crimes
against humanity.

If Jesus is a criminal, then what is christian?

An illegal alien dedicated to the overthrow of the state, I would have
thought.

Its called a joke. I don't care about your "state" theory.I care to
prove that you are a fool.If you call Jesus a criminal, then every one
who is a follower is a criminal too.Which makes the whole christianity
a big mafia. And Islam is even worth.Islam is a terrorist mafia.
But not for you...You'd rather argue about creation and defend muslim
terrorism.
What can I say....sucks to be atheist.

I like the traditional nailing-to-the-cross crucifixion. Except he
should be dropped, face down, out of an airplane after being nailed to
the cross.

Religious symbols seem to get simpler through the ages. No more
complexes likenesses of the gods, or even symbols like the Ankh that
don't crop up in nature. Now it's just two perpendicular lines. That
way, xians can see traces of their god in simpler things, like when
two crossbeams get found in a pile of rubble.
I predict that the next evolution will be a mere straight line. That
way, they can see confirmation of their god in every light post,
sidewalk crack and horizon so they don't have to see anything more
complicated to confuse their fantasies with the reality around them.

Of course, Christians have the fish symbol, and that can be drawn with a
single line.
