Dear Senator,
As a citizen concerned about the protection of marriage and the future
strength of families, I ask for your strong stand in defending marriage as
the union of one man and one woman. Right now activist judges seek to undo
the will expressed by an overwhelming majority of Americans committed to
traditional marriage. Whether by state courts in Massachusetts or federal
courts in Nebraska, marriage as an institution is under assault and poised
to be redefined. I ask that you would allow my voice, and the voice of
millions, to be heard on this crucial issue by sending to the states for
ratification an amendment to the U.S. Constitution reserving marriage as
only the union between one man and one woman. Our children deserve both a
mother and a father and public policy should promote this noble institution.
Please support the Marriage Protection Amendment when considered by the U.S.
Senate this June. Thank you and God bless.
Sincerely your constituent,

The ammendment you campaign for has absolutely nothing to do with
protecting traditional marriage. Unions between one man and one woman
can continue alongside unions between 2 men or 2 women, without
homophobia dressed up as so-called "protection of marriage".

Sincerely your constituent,
Sorry, but I shall never sign a petition that asks our representatives
to violate people's equal rights and write bigotry into the
Constitution.
Marriage is NOT under assault. The only people that think that are
bigots like you that do not want homosexuals to have the same rights as
you do. Nobody is trying to get rid of marriage or change it in any
substantial way. The Marriage Protection Amendment is one of the worst
named amendments or bills that I have ever heard of since it does
nothing to protect marriage, but rather seeks to DENY marriage to a
segment of the population, and thus weaken marriage as an institution.
If it was really for protecting marriage, it would be expanding the
laws concerning marriage to allow marriage between homosexual couples,
as is actually required by the 14th Amendment.
But then, you are too blind to see your own hatred and intolerance, or
else you actually revel in it.

Yon don't understand the 14th Amendment very well.
You are lobbying for unequal protection.
You currently think that homosexuals are not protected equally to married
persons, yet your lobby for only awarding same-sex persons the right to
marry is doing nothing for any single person who is not currently married.
The right to marry is moot to the 14th Amendment as it pertains to unmarried
persons who do not want to marry.
But then, you are too blind to see your own hatred and intolerance, or
else you actually revel in it.
What hatred?
I see that you hate that homosexuals are not allowed to marry.

You are lobbying for unequal protection.
Nonsense.
You currently think that homosexuals are not protected equally to married
persons, yet your lobby for only awarding same-sex persons the right to
marry is doing nothing for any single person who is not currently married.
Yes. Yes, it is. You see, the freedom of speech does not actually require
you to speak. And the freedom to marry does not actually require you to
marry. Removing sex discrimination from marriage would increase everyone's
rights, because everyone would gain the right to marry regardless of sex.
The right to marry is moot to the 14th Amendment as it pertains to unmarried
persons who do not want to marry.
It is moot only if you choose to make it so. A person who chooses not to
speak, has the freedom of speech even if he does not exercise it. And he is
in a different situation from a person who remains silent because the state
requires him to be silent.

Yes. Yes, it is.
Not for any single person who does not wish to marry.
You see, the freedom of speech does not actually require
you to speak. And the freedom to marry does not actually require you to

Duh!!!!!!!
There is no requirement for persons to marry in the USA other than they must
do so to attain the unequal protecitons that marriage affords today.
Forcing persons to marry in order for them to attain equal protections is
ludicrous.
Removing sex discrimination from marriage would increase everyone's
rights, because everyone would gain the right to marry regardless of sex.
You are still denying the rights of the unmarried who will NOT marry their
right to equal protections.
The right to marry is moot to the 14th Amendment as it pertains to
unmarried
persons who do not want to marry.
It is moot only if you choose to make it so.
It is moot to me. I am single.
It is moot to many persons.
Consider widows who do not wish to marry and who will NOT remarry.
Are you so ignorant of the composition of the USA?
A person who chooses not to
speak, has the freedom of speech even if he does not exercise it.
There is no requirement to speak.
I do not see unequal protections in the right to speak, unless you want to
consider hate speech laws that are designed to punish persons who speak
against homosexuality.
And he is in a different situation from a person who remains silent
because the state
requires him to be silent.
If the State requires you to be silent how is that honoring your free speech
rights?

cannot get pregnant does not take away that right.
But then, you are too blind to see your own hatred and intolerance, or
else you actually revel in it.
What hatred?
Your hatred of homosexuals. You have made that hatred clear on a
number of occasions.
I see that you hate that homosexuals are not allowed to marry.
Now you are making no sense. I do not hate homosexuals at all. That
is why I am trying to get them the same rights that heterosexuals take
for granted. Whether or not they choose to exercise that right is
their business.
Since you seem to have such a hard time understanding what equal rights
actually are, here is a website for you to look thinks up on.
http://usinfo.state.gov/products/pubs/rightsof/equal.htm
"- C H A P T E R 11 -
Equal Protection of the Law
Nor shall any State . . . deny to any person within its jurisdiction
the equal protection of the laws.
- Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution"
"When Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence that
"all men are created equal," he did not mean social or economic
egalitarianism. Rather he and others of the Founding generation
believed that society by its nature could never be socially or
economically homogeneous because men differ in their abilities and
virtues. They did not want to level society, but rather give to each
individual the opportunity to make the most of his abilities. In order
for this opportunity to exist, all men (and at the time they were only
concerned with men) had to stand before the law on an equal footing.
There could not be one law for the rich and another for the poor,
although the Founders ignored the fact that there was clearly one law
for white people and another for slaves. A generation later, when
Andrew Jackson's Democrats talked about equality, they meant the same
thing - equality of opportunity based on equal treatment by the law."
Very simply, the fact that you cannot seem to understand is that equal
rights means equal opportunity under the law, and equal footing with
respect to the law.

laws concerning marriage to allow marriage between homosexual couples,
as is actually required by the 14th Amendment.
Yon don't understand the 14th Amendment very well.
I understand it far, far better than you do.
Not so. While you adhere to opinions, I adhere to the Constitution.
You are lobbying for unequal protection.
Nope.
Denial doesn't show me that you are for equal protections for all citizens.
I am lobbying for equal rights and equal protection.
You are lobbying for an exacerbation of one of the current problems.
What protections or privileges should any citizen have unequal to any other
citizen? Can you answer that question in light of the 14th Amendment without
departing from it?
You currently think that homosexuals are not protected equally to married
persons,
Nope.
Obviously you do or else you would not be lobbying for the right to marry
someone of the same gender.
And, marrying someone of the same gender isn't actually possible (Look up
marriage and how it is achieved).
Didn't you see how the male person who had a sex change is prohibited from
entering LPGA events?
Their rule is if you were born of one gender (chromosomal signature) than
that is the gender group you must play in. Then we see Michelle Wie
attempting to qualify for the 'men's" U.S. Open.
Why the double standard that allows women to compete in men's events and the
prohibition upon men to enter women's events?
One reason is because men are not afraid of women and women are afraid of
men and the '*****' mentality.
So, do you want to allow men to compete in women's events now to be totally
fair without regard to gender?
They are not treated equally to heterosexual people because they
cannot get married in the same manner and for the same reasons as
heterosexual people.
Still denying single persons their Constitutionally protected right to equal
protections, huh?
Your entire stance hinges on homosexuality, sexual oritentation, which you
say we should not use as a bsis for discrimination, yet you deny persons
whose sexual orientation is abstinent; therefore, your entire argument is
cast out by the 14th Amendment.
yet your lobby for only awarding same-sex persons the right to
marry
Because homosexual persons are currently denied that right.
Who cares? There is to be no discrimination based upon marital status or
sexual orientation.
Heterosexuals have that right, and thus there is no reason for anyone
to try to get them that right.
The right to marry is not sufficient to create unequal protections based
upon marital status.
is doing nothing for any single person who is not currently married.
That is because any single, heterosexual person can get married if he
or she so chooses.
Insufficient in light of the 14th Amendment. How do you now any single
hetersexual person can get married if they choose to?
Wanna show me how every single heterosexual person can marry at will in the
USA?
You act like marriage is some magic spell where anyone can get married at
will.
And, you are denying every person who does not desire to marry.
Your objective is laden with much discrimination.
Why are you against widows, widowers, divorcees, and other single persons
having equal protections to married persons? Why are you lobbying for force
of marriage upon every U.S. citizen so they can attain unequal protections
and privileges? Why don;t you open your eyes and understand what the 14th
Amendment really is about?
The right to marry is moot to the 14th Amendment as it pertains to
unmarried
persons who do not want to marry.
That is their choice.
And, you think that is sufficient reason to deny them equal protections?
The *****/complainer in you is obvious.
Nobody is forcing anyone to get married,
*****. The force of marriage protections which discriminate against
persons who will not marry or who are content with being single is unfair in
light of the 14th Amendment.
yet homosexuals are prevented from getting married.
So? You seem to think that any other single person who is not married or who
wishes to marry or who doesn;t wish to marry has no problem bearing the
unequal treatment in the USA. Why are you so discriminatory toward so many
US Citizens?
Besides, single people
DO have the same rights as married people.
*****, idiot.
Just because you cannot use
a right does not mean that you do not have it.
Your assertion is not something that produces enough liberty in the USA.
For example, men have the right to get a legal abortion for any pregnancy
that they
experience that they do not want to continue.
Fantasy, fiction noted in your statement.
Tell me what real situation would really need such a statement in order for
a man to exert his right to choose.
You are relying on unreal situations to make your policy.
The fact that they
cannot get pregnant does not take away that right.
How does one have the right to do anything that never is in the realm of
reality?
But then, you are too blind to see your own hatred and intolerance, or
else you actually revel in it.
What hatred?
Your hatred of homosexuals.
You are blinded by your misconceptions, and hurling an accusation which most
pity-party bitches do when they are upset that they are nto given something
others have, obviously.
You have made that hatred clear on a
number of occasions.
So? When did your brother die after gays corrupted the blood supply?
I see that you hate that homosexuals are not allowed to marry.
Now you are making no sense.
So, you are now saying you love that homosexuals are not allowed to marry?
I do not hate homosexuals at all.
We know that you love them above hetersexual single persons.
Anyone can see that from your words.
That is why I am trying to get them the same rights that heterosexuals
take
for granted. Whether or not they choose to exercise that right is
their business.
Awwwww, pooh.
The little ***** Sebree wants people to think he loves everyone when he says
that, huh?

As a citizen concerned about the protection of marriage and the future
strength of families, I ask for your strong stand in defending marriage
as
the union of one man and one woman. Right now activist judges seek to
undo
the will expressed by an overwhelming majority of Americans committed to
traditional marriage. Whether by state courts in Massachusetts or federal
courts in Nebraska, marriage as an institution is under assault and
poised
to be redefined. I ask that you would allow my voice, and the voice of
millions, to be heard on this crucial issue by sending to the states for
ratification an amendment to the U.S. Constitution reserving marriage as
only the union between one man and one woman. Our children deserve both a
mother and a father and public policy should promote this noble
institution.
Please support the Marriage Protection Amendment when considered by the
U.S.
Senate this June. Thank you and God bless.
Sincerely your constituent,
Sorry, but I shall never sign a petition that asks our representatives
to violate people's equal rights and write bigotry into the
Constitution.
If you feel so strongly about it, why don't you lobby the government to
ban all marriage completely? It's your cause, *you* fight for it.

Dear Senator,
As a citizen concerned about the protection of marriage and
the
future
strength of families, I ask for your strong stand in
defending
marriage
as
the union of one man and one woman. Right now activist judges
seek
to
undo
the will expressed by an overwhelming majority of Americans
committed
to
traditional marriage. Whether by state courts in
Massachusetts
or
federal
courts in Nebraska, marriage as an institution is under
assault
and
poised
to be redefined. I ask that you would allow my voice, and the
voice
of
millions, to be heard on this crucial issue by sending to the
states
for
ratification an amendment to the U.S. Constitution reserving
marriage
as
only the union between one man and one woman. Our children
deserve
both a
mother and a father and public policy should promote this
noble
institution.
Please support the Marriage Protection Amendment when
considered
by
the
U.S.
Senate this June. Thank you and God bless.
Sincerely your constituent,
Sorry, but I shall never sign a petition that asks our
representatives
to violate people's equal rights and write bigotry into the
Constitution.
Marriage is NOT under assault. The only people that think
that
are
bigots like you that do not want homosexuals to have the same
rights
as
you do. Nobody is trying to get rid of marriage or change it
in
any
substantial way. The Marriage Protection Amendment is one of
the
worst
named amendments or bills that I have ever heard of since it
does
nothing to protect marriage, but rather seeks to DENY marriage
to
a
segment of the population, and thus weaken marriage as an
institution.
If it was really for protecting marriage, it would be
expanding
the
laws concerning marriage to allow marriage between homosexual
couples,
as is actually required by the 14th Amendment.
Yon don't understand the 14th Amendment very well.
You are lobbying for unequal protection.
You currently think that homosexuals are not protected equally
to
married
persons, yet your lobby for only awarding same-sex persons the
right
to
marry is doing nothing for any single person who is not
currently
married.
The right to marry is moot to the 14th Amendment as it pertains
to
unmarried
persons who do not want to marry.
If you feel so strongly about it, why don't you lobby the
government
to
ban all marriage completely? It's your cause, *you* fight for
it.
Why do you have a reading comprehension problem?
Or is it your vain accusation that I want marriage banned?
Sheesh.
You are an idiot.
Again, another person strays from the language of the Constitution
in
an
effort to attain benefits unequal to other persons in the USA.
You said yourself that marriage is discrimination against single
people,
Did I? I was referring to the unequal protections that are awarded to
persons based on marital status.
so I assumed that you would want to ban all marriages,
And, you would be wrong there.
and thus
end discrimination against single people.
Not what I was saying. The 14th Amendment prohibits unequal protection
and
unequal privilege.
Isn't that what you want?
Marriage itself seems to be no problem.
Unequal treatment based upon marital status seems to be a problem.
Why the gay lobby to acquire marriage rights?
LOL!!!!!!!
See?
Why the denial of all single persons?
You should state your intentions clearly, if such is not the case.
Oh, I see! You have no problem with ceremonial marriage, just the
legal rights entailed by secular marriage. That being the case, you
should petition the government to remove all legal rights from
marriage, and leave it as a private matter for individual citizens.
Problem solved! Better call your local senator and get to work,
Johnny.
I really am not so concerned about it myself, but when I see an argument
that will only exacerbate the current level of inequalities amongst
citizens
I try to show what the verbatim language of the Amendment says.
Ah, so you're just using it as an excuse to deny rights to homosexuals.
Kindly go *****, then.
You *are* an idiot.
If you had enough sense you would see what I am showing you to be much
easier to get into law and to give homosexuals equal protection.
But, your idiot's agenda at pushing for more laws that are unconstitutional
is a disgrace to the US Constitution.

It is not my fault that less discerning idiots such as you and many others

greedy bitchy wimp's ploy causes you to start hurling accusations at others
