Object: Psalm 105: 1-4, 6-9. 6-27-2007.
God's Fidelity To The Promise.
Give thanks to the Lord, invoke his name;
make known among the people his deeds!
Sing praise, play music;
proclaim all his wondrous deeds!
Glory in his holy name;
rejoice, O hearts that seek the Lord!
Rely on the mighty Lord;
constantly seek his face.
You descendants of Abraham his servant,
offspring of Jacob the chosen one!
The Lord is our God
who rules the whole earth.
He remembers forever his covenant,
the pact imposed for a thousand generations,
Which was made with Abraham,
confirmed by oath to Isaac.

Which saith:
"Now King David was old, weazened, and stricken in years; and they
covered him with clothes, but he gat no heat. Wherefore, his servant
said unto him, let there be sought for our Lord, the King, a supple
young virgin, and let her lie in thy bosom that my lord the King may
gat heat and make wood."
And so a young virgin by the name of Abishag was found. Although she
was very fair and cherished the king and ministered to him, the king
knew her not in the biblical way. That is to say, he gat no wood.
For the king was senile and unable to couple with the lovely maiden."
