Psalm 130: 1-8. 3-2-2007. |
A song of ascents.
Out of the depths I call to you, Lord;
Lord, hear my cry!
May your ears be attentive
to my cry for mercy.
If you, Lord, mark our sins,
Lord, who can stand?
But with you is forgiveness
and so you are revered.
I wait with longing for the Lord,
my soul waits for his word.
My soul looks for the Lord
more than sentinels for daybreak.
More than sentinels for daybreak
let Israel look for the Lord,
For with the Lord is kindness,
with him is full redemption,
And God will redeem Israel
from all their sins.

The Bible vs The Padre 3-2-2007
let Israel look for the Lord,
For with the Lord is kindness,
The Lord shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have
consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it.
The Lord shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever,
and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with
the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall
pursue thee until thou perish.
-- Deuteronomy 28:21,22
And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in
the going down to Bethhoron, that the Lord cast down great stones
from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more
which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel
slew with the sword.
-- Joshua 10:11
So the Lord sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to
the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to
Beersheba seventy thousand men.
-- 2 Samuel 24:15
And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was
chewed, the wrath of the Lord was kindled against the people, and
the Lord smote the people with a very great plague.
-- Numbers 11:33
