Psalm 19: 8-11. 7-27-2007. |
God's Glory In The Heavens And In The Law.
The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The decree of the Lord is trustworthy,
giving wisdom to the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart.
The command of the Lord is clear,
enlightening the eye.
The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever.
The statutes of the Lord are true,
all of them just;
More desirable than gold,
Sweeter also than honey
or drippings from the comb.

Also read:
Exodus 20: 1-17.
Matthew 13: 18-23.

The precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart.
Such as twice setting up the Egyptians for the slaughter?
The command of the Lord is clear,
enlightening the eye.
Examples:
Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like
unto him.
Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own
conceit.
-- Proverbs 26:4,5
Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ***** together.
Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and
linen together.
-- Deuteronomy 22:10,11
All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination
unto you.
-- Leviticus 11:20

Josef
It is better to know some of the questions than all of the
answers.

Nope. The soul is a free cause, Dave.

The decree of the Lord is trustworthy,

Such as the padre.
The precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart.
He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool;
But whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
-- Pr. 28:26.
The command of the Lord is clear,
enlightening the eye.
< chuckle! > Well, Dave, a flagrant sinner like yourself
certainly needs all the enlightenment he can get.
The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever.
That's rather ironic coming from a sinner like you, Dave.
The statutes of the Lord are true,
all of them just;
Deities cannot create absolutes, Dave. Ask Plato about that one.

Exodus 20: 1-17.
Matthew 13: 18-23.
Couldn't be bothered.
