Psalm 27: 1, 4, 13-14. 4-20-2007. |
Trust In God.
Of David.
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom do I fear?
The Lord is my life's refuge;
of whom am I afraid?
One thing I ask of the Lord;
this I seek:
To dwell in the Lord's house
all the days of my life,
To gaze on the Lord's beauty,
to visit his temple.
But I believe I shall enjoy the Lord's goodness
in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord, take courage;
be stouthearted, wait for the Lord!

Another excellent exercise in cherry picking.
Of David.
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom do I fear?
The Lord is my life's refuge;
of whom am I afraid?
And David arose and fled that day for fear of Saul, and went to
Achish the king of Gath.
-- 1 Samuel 21:10
One thing I ask of the Lord;
this I seek:
To dwell in the Lord's house
all the days of my life,
and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, "Isn't
this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the
Hittite?"
Then David sent messengers to get her. She came to him, and he
slept with her. (She had purified herself from her uncleanness.)
Then she went back home.
The woman conceived and sent word to David, saying, "I am
pregnant."

One fine day in alt.atheism, "vivapadrepio@aol.com" <vivapadrepio@aol.com>
bloodied us up with this:
Trust In God.
Does this work as well as prayer?
