Psalm 34: 8-13. 6-23-2007. |
Thanksgiving To God Who Delivers The Just.
The angel of the Lord, who encamps with them, delivers all who fear
God.
Learn to savor how good the Lord is; happy are those who take refuge
in him.
Fear the Lord, you holy ones; nothing is lacking to those who fear
him.
The powerful grow poor and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no
good thing.
Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
Who among you loves life, takes delight in prosperous days?

Where are my anchovies? There should be anchovies here. I distinctly
remember telling you "I want anchovies". *Jeezus*! Can't you people take a
simple prayer properly? Look, I got down on my knees, and I put my hands
together, and I said "I want anchovies". That wasn't some 'bargaining
position'; that was a simple request. Anchovies. One word; three syllables.
Was I unreasonable? No. Could I have been clearer? No. Could there have been
less ambiguity? No. And what do I get instead? A pizza that's got beer and
frog with 4 cheeses. Would you do this to Joe Pesci? Would you? I bet you
wouldn't. If Joe Pesci was on his knees right now saying he wanted
anchovies, I bet you'd get your specialist anchovy squad onto it straight
away. Wouldn't you? You wouldn't want to ***** of Joe Pesci. But when it
comes to me, it just doesn't matter, right? Look, this simply isn't good
enough. I'm not paying for this. No, no, I'm not. I don't want it. It's not
what I prayed for. You can just take the damn thing back. I don't want
anything to do with it, okay...? Next time I want to order a pizza, I'm just
gonna go to Dominus...

Anchovies are the minions of the Devil. Maybe that's why they are so damn
good.

God.
why do you need to fear your god, if as most christians believe, that the
invisible spiteful one is a "god of love".
Fear the Lord, you holy ones; nothing is lacking to those who fear
him.
fear again. why must you christians constantly cower, bow down, worship,
bumscrape & live your lives in constant terror?
but those who seek the Lord lack no
good thing.

Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.
I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into
deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while
I wait for my God.
They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine
head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully,
are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.

Subtitle: Just In Time Delivery - The Key To The Modern Economy
The angel of the Lord, who encamps with them, delivers all who fear
God.
The angels also "fear" God. Don't they, padre? Where do they get
delivered to?
Learn to savor how good the Lord is; ...
Unleavened bread and some cheap wine. Yummy.
... happy are those who take refuge
in him.
Is that before or after the "delivery"?
Fear the Lord, you holy ones; ...
... or there won't be any delivery for you.
... nothing is lacking to those who fear
him.
Including a FedEx account?
The powerful grow poor and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no
good thing.
Why would they have to seek the Lord? Aren't they being
delivered?
Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
Yes, Mr. Inquisitor.

performed by the law.
