Psi in Our Time
Psychic phenomena have always elicited excitement and curiosity.
Still, even well into our modern age, the laws governing their
operation are unknown to most people. However, this need not be,
because in many citadels of learning, scientific researches are
conducted that uphold the veracity of these happenings. In fact, many
theories regarding them have already been developed and proposed. So
much so that the ignorance attending such events has largely been
dispelled. And with fear and ignorance dissipating in the light of
these modern findings, we are now, even more boldly than ever before
in the past, venturing out farther, and our scientific knowledge
concerning them continues to increase daily as a consequence,
thereof.
With the dawning of the 21st century, the Occult or the secret
knowledge of the ancients is also gradually being made available to
more and more people. These sources similarly provide valuable and
clearer insights into the real nature of psychic phenomena. And more
importantly, the widespread occurrences provide the necessary
substantiation and proofs of the hidden spiritual realities and
universal principles, the secrets kept hidden since the foundation of
the world, which are only now slowly, but steadily, being unfolded in
our midst.
In the area of personal experiences, there is a preponderance of
individuals who are finding out that these phenomena are not the
exclusive domain of so-called mediums and psychics, but are, rather,
available to them, as well. Countless individuals in every walk of
life are now encountering many and varied forms of psychic
experiences. And these individuals demand explanations and answers to
their puzzling questions. Clearly, the stage is set for an elucidation
into the true nature and purpose of psychic phenomena.
So therefore, take off your blinders. Dismiss your fears and
apprehensions. Rise above the ignorance of your teachers. Just open
your eyes. Look. This is the Age of Aquarius! The answers are
everywhere just waiting to be found.

The one thing that they have never done is provide any proof, nor
even any evidence, what so ever. Sure, they've come up with many
claims and a thousand excuses when each claim is shot down.
Got proof?

The JREF challenge was established with exactly that purpose in mind.
It screams: "PUT UP, or SHUT UP!"
And it works.
It has divided thousands upon thousands of claimants into three basic
camps:
1) Frauds
2) Lunatics
3) Genuine Psychics
So far, the third group is quite empty.

No, they have absolutely never done so. They do not, in fact occur,
therefore than can have no effect whatsoever.
Perhaps if you were to rephrase your statement, for example, you could
have put "The idea of psychic phenomena ... yada etc." It would at
least demonstrate a shred of intellectual honesty, raising the
possibility of a fruitful discussion.
Do you get the picture?

In fact, nobody has ever been able to show that psychic phenomena exist at
all. When carefully examined, they tend to dissolve into a mixture of
wishful thinking and sloppy methodology.
