Query |
I am looking for some atheist publications for which to submit article
proposals. I am aware of American Atheist, but their guidelines seem to have
changed to short web sit submittals.
Anyone here know of any other magazines which might accept freelance work?

I don't know what their guidelines are, but have you thought of The
Humanist?

Thanks Kate! To correct myself, I did find access to AA's writers guidelines
just about 20 minutes ago. I do not know what I want to write about in
relation TO atheism, which seems to align itself with social activism, but
my goal as a disabled journalist is to broaden my audience.
I have little desire to squabble about Christianity, so I can see why
atheism as activism is attractive.

Go to a searching tool like google.
Enter the word "atheism".
Hit search.
Do you need more detailed instructions?
Or you could read the FAQ for this newsgroup. Do you need help in how to
use a search engine like google for getting the FAQ?
Anyone here know of any other magazines which might accept freelance work?
Why would any magazine want an article from somebody who hasn't the most
rudimentary research skills?

I don't have time for troll envy under fake identities.
I am an established writer, all you have to do is Google and some of my work
will come up online.
I have learned that shared knowledge can be a pleasant experience, and the
posters who've offered suggestions have been helpful while I formulate which
direction I'm headed in.

I second that suggestion; the newsletter is called _Freethought Today_ and
is very good. If you're looking for an overland mailing address, try:
