Object: Questions about the Trinity of God?
Some questions for experts on Christian religion;
God is supposedly made up of God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Ghost.
Who was God the fathers wife? Who was Jesus's mother before he was born of
the virgin Mary?
If God the Father did not have a wife, how did he father a son?
Who is the Holy Ghost? Is he an uncle? What is his function?
If this trinity is all powerful and created the Universe and everything in
it, why did it create such
fallible, errant and grossly imperfect men and earthly catastrophes and
diseases of every
imaginable kind? Why did this supposedly infallible God make these many
serious
mistakes in his creation?
If God created everything, why did he create sin and punishment for the sins
he created?
What is his purpose of putting man on earth to suffer from hunger, diseases
and catastrophes and then
usually experience a painful old age and death before being delivered to an
infinitely pleasant and
perpetual heaven?
Does God enjoy toying with and torturing his creations?

That's interesting. Have those (including the above poster) in this

Because he wanted man to have a free will, and that free will even amounted to
telling God "NO". Mankind showed he did not have the right stuff, so God kicked
him out of the garden to "reflect" on his shortcomings and allowed to practice
being a god. And we made a royal mess, as one would expect, of things.

Yes, but all that is in biblecal text which Christians don't take as
being literally true. It seems silly to build an explanation of the
state of the world on something that is not literally true.

And? Elmer Fudd, Spiderman and Zippy the Pinhead are all against
abortion as well. Why don't you babble on about that for awhile.
Does anyone know Homer Simpson's position on this issue?

I believe he's against it, based on one older episode where he was
trying to resign himself to raising a fourth kid when he thought Marge
was pregnant.

You obviously missed the part where God kills all the first-born
children of Egypt. And then there's Psalm 137:9
"Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against
the stones."

Well ... so do atheists. Fewer divorces too.

The ONLY "evidence" of his feelings on abortion shows that he
considers it a civil tort between the abortionist and the father.
Everything else is interpretation.

Did you know your god is the biggest aborter of all? Most pregnancies
end in a natural abortion. That one could explain as god doesn't want
this child to be born.

Totally, completely false; wrong, misleading nonsense, crap, incorrect.
There ain't no gods, so they cannot 'enjoy' anything
