Questions for God |
If there was a God, what would youse ask him?
I'll start:
Where on Earth can a fellow find a decent dry martini?

I really need to know the basis of his deciding to help one professional
sports team beat another? WTF
Helped Barry Bonds hit a homer did you?
How about that birth defect thing? WTF
How do you justify watching every instance of child abuse, being capable of
stopping them, and not acting, you sadistic voyeur? Don't give me that free
will *****. You stop murders and other bad things all the time according
your followers. Too busy helping Barry? WTF
The list is endless.

He would already know what I wanted to ask (even if I kept it hidden
from myself) - and if he were going to answer he already would have
answered and if he were not going to answer there wouldnt be anything I
could do to make him - so if I could ask God absolutely anything I
wanted ...
I would remain silent.

Well the typical theist would probably ask: "Will I go to hell?"
And the typical atheist would probably ask: "How can I prove you don't
exist?"

How egotistical!
And the typical atheist would probably ask: "How can I prove you don't
exist?"
Or "how can I make you not exist?"
Or " Can you make yourself not exist?"
If God cannot cease to exist then that is a limitation to its power.
If it can make itself cease to exist but doesnt want to then our
existence is truley hopeless and we can beg for annihilation.
Of course God can refuse to suicide or allow our annihilation - we
would have no say in the face of omnipotence - we would be as nothing.
Much too depressing to contimplate.
