It's kind of a loaded question...
"Do you believe students should begin each school day reciting the pledge of
allegiance without the phrase 'under God'?"
I don't believe students should begin the school day with any pledge.

Communist alert!!!...yuk yuk yuk
Isn't it ridiculous pledging allegiance to a fucking piece of cloth. I know,
I know, it's the symbol of the thing. But it's rife with Nazi overtones.
Which makes sense when you consider it's origins.

I'm sure I read somewhere, in the guidlines (laws?) concerning how the
(U.S.A.) flag should be treated, that it should be considered a living
person. I'll try and find the link again if you're interested.

Someone could produce a graphic in which lots of smaller flags
were superimposed on the American flag. Some of them basking
comfortably on the stripes; others imprisoned behind bars in the
stars.
Would that be illegal in the US? Not that anyone could enforce a
ban, nowadays.

What an idiotic question. It combines "reciting the Pledge" with
eliminating the phrase "under God". So a vote of "NO" means: you should
not recite the pledge at all OR you should recite the pledge but retain
the phrase "under God". The only ones who would vote "YES" are those who
favor "forced" recitation of the Pledge, but want elimination of the
phrase "under God." I would expect that those people are few and far
between.
