Racism, Homophobia, and low IQs go Hand in Hand
This is my opinion only, of course:
The "Save Our State" a.k.a. "Minutemen" white supremists are
threatening to assault freedom of speech, art, and expression
in Baldwin Park, California once again on June 25. After
these racists suffered a massively humiliating defeat on May
15'th ( http://www.thedarkwind.org/nohate0.htm ) it looks to me
like they're trying to save face by mustering additional racist
hate mongers to try it again. Some background:
http://www.splcenter.org/intel/news/item.jsp?aid=13
http://www.stormfront.org/forum/showthread.php?t=206767
So the local community is once again turning out to oppose
everything these bigots stand for:
http://www.thedarkwind.org/june25.htm
Now I find that racism and homophobia goes hand in hand --
along with low IQs. I received the following email that I
believe shows more of what these people stand for. Since
I'm a white middle-class American who opposes racism and
opposes hate of gays, I thought I'd pass this along to show
the gay community what these "Save Our State" a.k.a.
"Minutemen" people are all about in their own words:

Note that homophobia is not biblical as evidenced by 1 Corinthians
6:9-11. This passage indicates that certain members of that early
church practiced homosexuality but were cleansed in Jesus' name. So
these homosexual church members evidently repented and accepted God's
grace to straighten their lives out.
Otherwise, so-called Christians who harass homosexuals are just driving
homosexuals away from Jesus.

Most likely you have not even finished high school. What you are cursing
other people is only your own illness.
Believing that you are only an animal who can tout other people by saying
that they are stupid is not a proof that you are "smart" (whatever that
means to you) rather it is a proof that you are a violent animal who
eliminate your opponents.
Those who believe in God on the other hand have respect for human life and
for the value of each person, regardless of what a violent animal like you
would call his opponents. The problem with your rage is that you would not
find a limit to where to stop if people do not become like you. You start
by cursing, then you entertain evil thoughts, then those thoughts one day
deliver you to a crime.
Love your enemies and bless those who curse you instead of cursing those
whom you disagree with.
God bless you,

Liar. Or at best a brainwashed Twit too stupid to understand his
own superstition.
Your belief is a malignant horror that has caused more suffering,
hate and intolerance than ANY single factor in all of human history.
We'd be two thousand years more advanced than we are now if it weren't
for superstition. Science has had to fight tooth and claw just to get
this far and there's no end in sight.
So while you're calling us scum, think about your health, life span

I think smart people can still believe in fictional occult constructs
provided they're deliberately kept uneducated, in fear, and superstitious
by their parents and teachers.

I don't think it's entirely fair to judge atheists by the standards of
"SheBlewHim..." - if they can be called standards at all.
I am sure that the majority of atheists have come to their position as
regards to religion through considered reasoning - and I am equally sure
that the majority of atheists have no problem with those who choose to
follow a path of belief.
Those atheists who DO choose to oppose religion actively are, in my
experience, more often than not capable of reasoned and mature
discussion. While their beliefs lead them to challenge religious
thought, they do so generally with a respect for the people they deal
with, if not for the religion those people follow. Some, of course,
choose an aggressive course and believe they can fight religion by
deriding it. These particular atheists have yet to learn that such an
approach can do nothing but reinforce the determination of the religious
- but they will learn that sooner or later.
But in the case of "SheBlewHim...", we have not an atheist, but someone
who hates God. There is a difference. The level of anger and
frustration that this poster exhibits is likely to come not from one who
does not believe, but from one who has not got what s/he wants from God.
Militant atheists may hate religion, but "SheBlewHim" hates GOD. And in
order to hate God, one must first believe in Him.

There is no more reason to believe that there is no God than to believe
there is. No more, no less.
And I think you will find that you lack the authority to declare the 'end

IIRC, IQ scores were part of your 'permanent record', but not in
the same way that (say) your SAT scores and GPA are (i.e., not
available to you during your tenure as a student)
dunno about banking records though...in light of the latest goings
on at CitiGroup, I'd say that access to those old IQ scores was a
bit tighter held ;^D

A nickel is worth half of a dime but takes up maybe three times the

I went for the note, because it has a fixed value, paint, is too vague.
Had it specified a colour, then it would have been interesting to know which one
the tester gave preference to, note, or colour, and why.

harder next time. Had trouble with the one about words, paint, and
musical notes. I'm a glass artist who majored in music. Oh, well.
I went for the note, because it has a fixed value, paint, is too vague.
Had it specified a colour, then it would have been interesting to know which one
the tester gave preference to, note, or colour, and why.

Notes have different values, but they're all notes. Same with words and
paint. I also felt paint was too vague and went with note.

I was thinking from the POV, that "and" is always "and", and "C#", is always
"C#", but "paint", can be anything from black to white.

But that's more like "ghoti" is an alternate spelling for "fish." <g>
