DEMOCRATS: IS THIS RACISM?
The New York Democrat made a remark about Mahatma Gandhi at a
fund-raiser Saturday. During an event here for Senate candidate Nancy
Farmer, Clinton introduced a quote from Gandhi by saying, "He ran a
gas station down in St. Louis."
After laughter from many in the crowd of at least 200 subsided, the
former first lady continued, "No, Mahatma Gandhi was a great leader of
the 20th century."
LAUGHTER? LAUGHING ABOUT A RACIST JOKE UTTERED BY A SOUTHERN WOMAN?
ARE ALL HER AUDIENCES FULL OF RACISTS?

And did he? Was it a lie? Was it intended to be funny?

Maybe you had to be there. Perhaps if Gandi were, he would have laughed,
also.
LAUGHING ABOUT A RACIST JOKE
You say it was a joke. How do you know it was a joke?
UTTERED BY A SOUTHERN WOMAN?
What makes you think she is a southern woman?
She was born in Chicago and is the daughter of Dorothy Rodham
and the late Hugh Rodham--not southerners, as far as I know. Her youth was
spent in Park Ridge, Illinois attending public school there. How southern
is that? She attended Wellesley College and is a 1973 graduate of Yale
Law School. What is southern about that?
I lived twice in the Houston area and once in the Dallas area, also in
Southern California.
Does that make me southern?
