Raise the Koran! |
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/4535491.stm
Apparently Clive Cussler is starting his next cheesey potboiler on the
effort by his hero Dork Pitt of the National Tautological Adjective
Agency to retrieve the invaluable Koran from the can on Guantanamo.
Can't wait for the movie.
Meanwhile, back in Iraq, "About 43 percent of boys and girls between
the ages of 6 months and 5 years suffer from some form of the condition
-- chronic, general or acute malnutrition." because of Bush's
incompetence and stupidity.
cnn.com/2005/WORLD/meast/05/12/iraq.livingsurvey/index.html
Now where is the muslim outrage about that? Where are the protests in
the streets in other muslim countries? QWhere are the offers of aid?
They have a tantrum because a book they'e not supposed to be actually
worshipping anyway *may* have been flushed, but children are starving
and they don't say a word?
But in brighter muslim news, Pakistan is embracing women in the
airforce - as fighter pilots no less:

Hmmm..........indeed.
I would say 'Odd that', but it is the religious folks your on about, so,
no, it's not odd at all,
just fucking typical.

'Realism is seductive because once you have accepted the reasonable
notion that you should base your actions on reality, you are too often
led to accept, without much questioning, someone else's version of what
that reality is. It is a crucial act of independent thinking to be
skeptical of someone else's description of reality.'-

The tantrum isn't really about the Koran that probably wasn't flushed.
That was just a pretext for anti-American agitators who were planning
the riots last winter. But we mustn't blame the traitor media or the
propaganda rag Newsweek for running an inflammatory bit of hearsay that
was completely unsubstantiated and which played right into the hands of
our enemies.
