The president turned the nation into a joke. Arnie is, as far as I
have seen, a fairly redeeming choice, and I wouldn't really see his
election as an outrage. I don't know if I would have voted for him.
He's not perfect or infallable, and I may not agree with everything he
says, but the fact that he was previously in a different job is not a
point against him in my book. I would not sack a chef for previously
being an architect.
Anyway didn't someone mention he was an atheist?
I wonder if many Brits would see it as a joke if Frank Bruno became
and MP.
