This subject is actually one that comes up a lot in discussions about
the religious among us. The lack of desire to reason and the occultism
that ensues has fucked the rest of us up since the day deity-oriented
religion was created.
It's _impossible_ to educate superstition and occultism out of the human
animal and as such religion -- and people who support monsters like
Bush -- will be with humanity always. That'll stop when humans evolve
into a difference suit of species, I'd hope.
