Think you are getting the Jehovahs Witnesses confused with Mormonism.
Bible Believing Christians..consider both groups to be "Christian Cults"
because they depend on sources of "Inspiration" outside of the Bible.
For
Jehovas Witnesses this teachings of the "Watch Tower Bible and Tract
Society"...for the Mo Mo's this is of course the Book of Mormon. For
Seventh Day Adventists..this would be the prophetic utterances of Ellen
G.
White. For Roman Catholics this would be: Papal Bulls, Directives of
various church counsels and traditions of the church. The Mo Mos are a
lot
more dangerous. That got folks known as Temple Riders who go out and
kill
Baptist Missionaries ya know. That be up in Utah, Wyo, Montana and other
godforsaken areas where they are purty much the only dog and pony show in
town
You're getting confused. Some are cults, others mainstream religions.
However they're all varieties of Christianity because they are based
round Jesus Christ.
The Roman Catholics are one of the two original Christian
denominations. So they're hardly a cult. In spite of how fundies
misrepresent them.
And the Mormons, in spite of their dubious origin, are hardly a cult
either. They're mainstream in the USA and only regarded as cults in
other countries. Who is to say that Christianity didn't start off from
a convincing scam artist?
