Re: A not so tough time of the year..... |

Thanks to advice/knowlege in this newsgroup and in the food newsgroup I
had a pretty good Christmas, (my first as Dx).
Christmas is always good...

The latter is when we do what GOD does not want us to do (i.e. sin).
Leaking roof and bad cold asside,
The latter comes from an immune system weakened by that harmful VAT
that has also caused your type-2 diabetes.
You would be wise to eat less, down to the optimal amount, in order to
become healthier (hungrier) as you lose the VAT curing the insulin
resistance (IR/MetS) and possibly also the type-2 diabetes:

.... or you can continue to be crazy believing falsely that hunger is
bad:

.... your choice for you have the free will that GOD has generously
given all souls.
my wife and two sons were happy and healthy.
This would be a blessing from GOD otherwise you would be accursed and
consequently unable to eat (i.e. not hungry).
I bought lots
of treats, such as blue diamond nut crackers, exotic spicy sausages and
more.
Clearly, you are hungry, which indicates that GOD is indeed blessing
you.

.... for you will be satisfied." -- LORD Jesus Christ (Luke 6:21)
Amen.
What I did was that as the family was enjoying all the
traditional sweets I had some non-sugar/low carb stuff that I nibbled at
all holiday. I felt like I was enjoying a feast while constant testing
showed me never cracking 8! Now, I know we can't afford to buy this
stuff year round, but I now have my own foods to look forward to each
Christmas.
Again, you would be wiser to cure your IR/MetS and possibly even your
type-2 diabetes.
Thank you to eveyone and Happy freakin' holidays!!!!
You are welcome, Andy :-)
Redirecting all thanks, praises, and glory to GOD so that we will both
be that much more blessed.
Indeed, am much hungrier while typing this so that there is knowing
that HE is blessing me at this precise moment :-))
May we, who have stopped sinning though we remain sinners, have a
blessedly wonderful New Years ...
.... by being hungrier:

Hunger is wonderful :-)
It's how we know what GOD wants, which is what is good.
Yes, hunger is our knowledge of good versus evil that Adam and Eve
paid for with their and our immortal lives.
Be hungry... be healthy... be hungrier... be blessed:
