Real Christians know the answer to that one - free will.
A&E decided they know better than God and told him "no". We are faced
with the same choices today - God (of the spirit) or me (of the
flesh).
A&E, and you and I, are faced with that choice. There is no such

is there free will once youre in heaven?- Hide quoted text -
Your desire for the things of the flesh are removed in purgatory, if
you're lucky enough to go that direction. Only Jesus decides.
you didnt answer my question, nor did you even attempt to. is there
free will in heaven?
I've asked that question many times, and never got an answer. This
"duke" thing typed some non sequitur words, and that's all you're
going to get.
A non sequitur is all you desire to see. The truth forcefully speeds
over your head as you look around dumbfounded for an answer that you
don't recognize.
You lose, not me.
i dont desire a non-sequitur. i desire a real answer. is there free
will in heaven? a simple "yes" or "no" will do.

Someone in heaven heard that his best friend down on earth had just passed
away.
ÒOh I'm so looking forward to seeing him againÓ the man said. ÒSorryÓ said God,
ÒBut he will not be coming here because he has been a little bit more sinful
than you, so your friend, will be going to the other place we call HellÓ.
So here's this man, sitting for eternity in paradise next to his loving God,
whilst his friend, who had been just a little more sinful than he, is about to
roast for eternity on burning coals in a place called Hell.
Is it conceivable that anything could be more banal, juvenile, or crassly
stupid?

If you're talking about A&E, no, they didn't have free will. Now I
don't believe for a second that the whole story is anything but a
Bronze Age myth, but for the sake of argument I'll play.
According to the bible, A&E were placed into the GofE *innocent*,
lacking the knowledge of the difference between good and evil (right
and wrong). That's the knowledge that the Tree of Knowledge imparted,
remember. But unless you know right from wrong, the concept of
"obedience" has no meaning; therefore, they didn't know that
disobeying god's commandment not to eat of that tree was "wrong," and
could hardly be blamed for their mistake - and certainly not blamed to
the extent that every one of their descendants would inherit a
negative trait called "original sin" that they would be punished for.
Thanks for playing. Please pick up your consolation prize on your way
out.

===>But that "God" obviously did not know this would happen.
Otherwise he would not have made them in the first place, or would
have given a different warning:
"I kow you guys are going to eat of that tree and I will chase you
out of my garden so you could not eat of that other tree and live

But he did not say this, so he did not know.

Actually the writers depicted the gods they were familar with at the time.
Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that,
when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare
children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of
renown.
Anyone who has actually studied the subject knows this. The fundies just try
to wrap their ideas around what it actually says.
They always come up short, and usually start a new sect based on the Really,
Really, REALLY True Meaning.
