Kind of what happened when we invaded Germany, eh? Except that the civilian
dead is only a fraction of what it was in World War II. In war, ***** happens.
If only the left could figure that out.

you didn't understand what "illegally invaded a sovereign nation and killed

My, but you are ignorant.
First of all, we entered Germany in 1945, after WWII had been going
strong for over five years. Germany started WWII by invading Poland.
An overt, agressive act.
Secondly, Germany declared war on the United States on December 10th,
1941. There was a delcared state of war, bucko. Show me the
declaration of war against Iraq.

The U.N. put it's rubber stamp of approval on the invasion, the
occupation, the interim government, and the current election process.
The U.S., as a whole, has broken no laws to which it was bound.

There was nothing illegal about it.
uh huh
The U.N. put it's rubber stamp of approval on the invasion, the

no, it did not.
Yes, it did.
Care to cite?
The U.S., as a whole, has broken no laws to which it was bound.
the united states is bound to follow international law, just as it

It's not a law that the U.S. is bound by if it's not enforceable (and
it isn't)
Maybe you should think of it as a code of honour then (albeit a
CONSTITUIONALLY PROTECTED code of honor).
I think of it as what it is, unenforceable by those who wish to impose
it.
I don't think anyone is denying that.
It was still an illegal action, and the protectors of the US Constitution
(whoever they may be) should take note.
The protectors of the Constitution invaded Iraq.
Aha....now you are making progress.
No, you are...
So, you have a group of people whose job it is to protect your constitution

It doesn't bother or surprise me because this is how it's always been.
Not that I have any inside information, because I don't, but I'm sure

Jesus, those guys really did a job on you lot.
It isn't I who doesn't know how America operates. Of course Iraq was
invaded under false pretenses, but it wasn't illegal for America to do
so. This isn't the first time and you can be certain it won't be the last.

So, you have a group of people whose job it is to protect your

It isn't their only job. It isn't even their primary job.
Maybe it is different in the US, but in most republics it is the primary job
of the Attorney General to protect the constitution, and to advise the
government on legal issues.
John Ashcroft was completely silent over the unconstituionality of the Iraq
war.
(the fundamentals on which your state has been built), they ignore it,
They didn't ignore it.
Eh...yes they did.
If they hadn't ignored it, they couldn't have gone to war.
Now, if you have a rational explanation, with evidence, for why the war was
constitutional please give it.
Otherwise, you are just a load of hot air.
and you couldn't care less.
It doesn't bother or surprise me because this is how it's always been.
Not that I have any inside information, because I don't, but I'm sure
you're one of the people who would be very surprised if the public was
ever made aware of some of the things America has done.
"Made aware" is different from "being able to find outabout...".
Americans can find out about all of the nasty little "covert ops" that have
been carried out in their name (or indeed other illegal activities that the
government has been involved in) if they really want, but they are not "made
aware" of them very often.
Jesus, those guys really did a job on you lot.
It isn't I who doesn't know how America operates. Of course Iraq was
invaded under false pretenses, but it wasn't illegal for America to do so.
It was illegal.
For details see my other posts about the US constitution and the UN charter.
Again, without any information to back up your claims, you are just a load
of hot air.
This isn't the first time and you can be certain it won't be the last.
Oh, I have no doubts about that.
The US has been involved in many illegal and anti-democratic actions all
over the world, and Im sure there will be plenty more to come.
The problem is that most of your countrymen still feel that they live in a
country who is a protector of democracy and "fair play" all over the world,
some know what is going on and get angry about it, and some (such as
yourself) know (or claim to know) exactly what is being done in their name,
but don't give a ***** about it. Still, you guys act all shocked and suprised
when someone gets really ***** and attacks your country.

interesting that you seem to regularly define us as nation of uncontrollable,
