I'm agnostic because I question the belief in a higher power.

The universe exists, from where did it come? I know about the big
bang theory.

My experience with religion leads me to believe that supernatural
occurrences in all faiths were hoaxes designed by charlatans to
control the naive and enrich the "holy men" and their establishments.

Strange that these magical events don't occur today.

Religous people become angry when I tell them that I'm agnostic,
often to the point of hysteria.

Atheist are the same.

They're both angry that I won't join their clubs. They call me dirty
names and accuse me of heinous crimes. (Isn't there a commandment
about "bearing false witness"? I guess they're all going to hell).

Why do religious people insist on forcing their bizarre beliefs on
everyone else? If there is a God, he'll take care of these terrible
people.

Why do atheists act like members of high school cliques, who need to
destroy everyone who doesn't agree with them? It seems as if they've
created a religion out of denial of religion.

Why can't both focus on their own lives?

Maybe they're both denying their own emotional problems.

I think you misunderstand what an atheist is. You yourself, from
what you've said here, are an atheist. You're not a *strong* atheist
(one who claims to know absolutely that no god exists), and strong
atheism is what you seem to be describing when you speak of
"atheists".

"There is no god" is not a claim (statement standing in need of
proof), it is the denial (negation) of one, and the burden of proof
cannot be shifted to the denial.

If you do not believe in God (and from your post, I gather you
don't), you're an atheist, whether or not you absolutely deny the
possibility of God. I personally don't believe in God, but I don't
deny the possibility -- I am an atheist.

So you agree with the theists that it is possible that a god might
exist anyway, even though nobody can point out any god spoor? That is
theism in a nutshell, old sport.

Have you stopped beating your wife?

This is not a loaded question, sir. Please don't try to evade it. Didn't
you just say that you have reason to be convinced there is a possibility
that God might be something real? So far you haven't produced any such
reason, only an argument from ignorance that there is no proof God is
not real, right?

That statement is a self-contradiction, since what you claim theists say
is considered to be heresy by actual theists.

That is Septic Capon, the Simple Pimple, at his most artful lying best,
in a nutshell. He conflates true agnosticism with true theism by
misrepresenting both. he clearly has not stopped beating his wife.

This is not a loaded question, sir.

It is rife with false assumptions and conditions contrary to fact. That
cedrtainly constitutes a load.

An argument to the ignorant does not constitute an aargumentum ad
agnorantiam.
To address the subject of Septic Capon, the Simple Pimple's arrogant
ignorance once more:
There is no proof that gods are impossible.
Ergo, it is not known that gods are impossible.
"Not impossible" means "possible".
Ergo, AS FAR AS WE NOW KNOW, gods are possible.
Also, AS FAR AS WE KNOW, no gods have been proved to exist, so that the
agnostic position is that it is not known that gods are either actual or
impossible.
Is there some part of that which is too subtle for Septic? Probably!

There are logical proofs that prove that gods are impossible. However,
these are dependent on your definition of god. Why don't you tell me what
your definition of god is and I will try to prove that they don't exist.

I agree EXACTLY with what you said. This 'god' thing needs to be
defined...and attributes put forward. Then we'll take it from there.

As it is true, any accusation of it being a fallacy is irrelevant.
Unless Septic Capon, the Simple Pimple, can provide that missing proof.
Well can you, punk?
