I'm just one in the large majority of Americans that believe in our
President Bush and I have no problem telling anyone how I feel.
An unspeakable act against America, so cruel, so calculated and so
utterly merciless that surely the world could agree on one thing -
nobody deserved that fate. Surely there could be a consensus: The
American victims were truly innocent, the perpetrators truly evil.
And yet it would appear that your beloved Mr Bush may well have known
that something like this was going to happen. I remember at the time
of the last US election several commentators in the UK made the
observation that Bush would have to do something pretty drastic to
unite the country, given that his winning of the election was not only
suspect but also devisive. The US sure did get behind him after 9/11.
The implication here seems to be that Bush wanted it to happen or at
least knew about it and allowed it to happen for political purposes.
I'm afraid that's a bit far fetched.

Remember ... remember ... September 11. One of the greatest atrocities
in human history was committed against us.
No, do more than remember. Never forget!!
Never ever forget, but move on and work towards making the entire
world a better place to live, not just your little patch of it.
Excellent.
