I think agnosticism is implied in atheism. neither are a religion, let's be
clear on that. atheism is nothing more than a lack of belief in a deity. it
is not active and automatic disbelief. agnostics are just fence-sitters who
don't have the balls to call themselves atheists. you don't believe in a god
either, twat, you just leave it open and say that this does not necessarily
imply that there is no deity _to believe in_. maybe some atheists feel that
they are *absolutely* certain that no god of any kind exists. I haven't met
any. I KNOW the limpwristed lameass of a deity that is jesus and the other
two jerkoffs from the trinity are total *****. doesn't mean I'd never
accept evidence for a deity, were any to come to hand. I really fucking
doubt it will. that has nothing to do with atheism, though. the two come
from a common source: my own common sense. you would do well to go and fetch
some for yourself. I know you've got a lot of room in that cranium of yours.
We agnostics are open-minded to things which
concern truth as that is our search. Christians, atheists, and all
the other fucking religions are just a means of psychological security
what psychological security can an atheist ever hope for from their lack of
belief? we don't believe there's some giant ***** in the sky, puppeteering
our lives, loving us, making us happy. we don't have the irrational belief
that there's some luxurious and virgin-filled afterlife waiting for us.
we've got to accept that the universe came about somehow (we may never know
how) and that life arose and was shaped by the environment and that we're
just very complex groupings of chemicals and energy, which is seriously
fucking temporary. so much for fucking 'psychological security' you fucking
philosopher wannabe.
as they close their minds to any information disproving their
theories. Organized religions promise that there is a God that will
send you to heaven if you follow their way of life. Atheism promises
atheism promises absolutely nothing. it is a definition, not a tenet. how
foolish you are

None. Emmett Fields happens to be a man I admire. Other men I admire
include Albert Einstein, Galileo Galilei, and Stephen King, to name just
a few. I admire these men because they each had a spark that set them
above the masses of common humanity. They are role models, if you will,
men who represent the person I hope I could be. I am also perfectly
capable of expressing disagreement, when any of these men say something
I object to.
You admire no one? You have no role models? You see nothing to
consider exemplary in any of the people who bring new understanding to
mankind? I feel sorry for you.
Atheism is mindless follow the leader, just like Christianity. You
know there is no God...whatthefuckever. No one knows that's why we
have this thing called the unknown...you know?
Granted, and I'll be the first atheist to admit I don't know for
absolutely sure that a god doesn't exist. However, I don't have any
belief in any god, because the evidence to date indicates no reason
whatsoever to believe that a god may exist, in much the same way that I
don't know that there aren't pink hippopotami on Mars, but the evidence
to date indicates nothing of the sort.
It is theists, generally, who cannot accept the unknown and are
therefore compelled to follow an imaginary being (I am quite sure none
of the myriads of different religions have it right, even if there is a
god) in order to mask their own ignorance.
