That depends on how inferior you feel to begin with.
Some of us are quite satisified to be what we are, and do not need the
false glow, of reflected, imagined, glory, in order to feel good about

Most atheists posting here
trash and flame, because the unspoken addendum to any "you are a moron" is:
"But I am NOT a moron", and because an atheist measures himself against
others, he is ever in need to win and feel superior to others.
What is strange to me, is that no other xtians in any of the boards

Why do you think that is?

Well, there's nothing wrong with wanting forgiveness...or asking for it, or
earning it. It's part of the growth process. How can you improve yourself if
you don't take care of the loose ends you left as a result of your previous
screwups?
Other than that, I think that you have a very good point, and it's a point

NOT like winning a lottery or a Cruise to the Bahamas, it doesn't come

Not only that, but we are supposed to be doing it for EXACTLY the same

"The right thing to do" according to whose definition? Your own?
Your
friends? Society? We Christians have Jesus for our standard of what is
right. What or who do you have to define and demonstrate the ideals you
seek to live up to?
You may "HAVE" "geesuz" .. but rather than honestly FOLLOWING geezus - you

You are vilifying Jesus, whom we hold holy. Do your flaming in flame

Dead Jesus Sketch
The cast:
ATHEIST
"PASTOR" FRANK
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The sketch:
A customer enters Honest Franks Very Holy Church shop.
Atheist: 'Ello, I wish to register a complaint.
(Frank does not respond.)
Atheist: 'Ello, Miss?
Frank: What do you mean "miss"?
Atheist: I'm sorry, I have a cold. I wish to make a complaint!
Frank: We're closin' for lent.
Atheist: Never mind that, my lad. I wish to complain about this
saviour what I purchased not half an hour ago from this very boutique.
Frank: Oh yes, the, uh, the Palestine Pansy...What's,uh...What's
wrong with it?
Atheist: I'll tell you what's wrong with it, my lad. 'E's dead,
that's what's wrong with it!
Frank: No, no, 'e's uh,...he's resting.
Atheist: Look, matey, I know a dead saviour when I see one, and
I'm looking at one right now.
Frank: No no he's not dead, he's, he's restin'! Remarkable
messiah, the Palestine Pansy, idn'it, ay? Beautiful beard!
Atheist: The beard don't enter into it. It's stone dead.
Frank: Nononono, no, no! 'E's resting!
Atheist: All right then, if he's restin', I'll wake him up!
(shouting at the cage) 'Ello, Mister Son of Man! I've got a lovely
fresh cuttle fish for you if you
show...
(Frank slaps the corpse on the arse)
Frank: There, he moved!
Atheist: No, he didn't, that was you fondling his buttocks!
Frank: I never!!
Atheist: Yes, you did!
Frank: I never, never did anything...
Atheist: (yelling and hitting the corpse repeatedly) 'ELLO
YASSIR!!!!! Testing! Testing! Testing! Testing! This is your nine
o'clock alarm call!
(Grabs corpse by its long flowing hair and thumps its head on the
counter. Waves its limp arms in a blessing gesture and watches it
collapse lifelessly onto the floor.)
Atheist: Now that's what I call a dead saviour.
Frank: No, no.....No, 'e's stunned!
Atheist: STUNNED?!?
Frank: Yeah! You stunned him, just as he was wakin' up! Palestine
Pansies stun easily, major.
Atheist: Um...now look...now look, mate, I've definitely 'ad
enough of this. That saviour is definitely deceased, and when I
purchased it not 'alf an hour
ago, you assured me that its total lack of movement was due to it
bein' tired and shagged out following a prolonged wedding party.
Frank: Well, he's...he's, ah...probably pining for Getsemane.
Atheist: PININ' for GETSEMANE?!?!?!? What kind of talk is that?,
look, why did he fall flat on his back the moment I got 'im home?
Frank: The Palestine Pansy prefers keepin' on it's back!
Remarkable messiah, id'nit, squire? Lovely beard!
Atheist: Look, I took the liberty of examining that saviour when
I got it home, and I discovered the only reason that it had been
sitting on its cross in the
first place was that it had been NAILED there.
(pause)
Frank: Well, o'course it was nailed there! If I hadn't nailed
that messiah down, it would have found a bunch of unemployed oiks,
turned'em nuts with his fancy speechin', and
VOOM! Civil war!
Atheist: "VOOM"?!? Mate, this messiah wouldn't "voom" if you put
four million volts through it! 'E's bleedin' demised!
Frank: No no! 'E's pining!
Atheist: 'E's not pinin'! 'E's passed on! This saviour is no
more! He has ceased to be! 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker!
'E's a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e
rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed 'im to the cross 'e'd be
pushing up the daisies! 'Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'E's
off the twig! 'E's kicked the
bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain
and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!! THIS IS AN EX-SAVIOUR!!
(pause)
Frank: Well, I'd better replace it, then. (he takes a quick peek
behind the counter) Sorry squire, I've had a look 'round the back of
the shop, and uh,
we're right out of saviours.
Atheist: I see. I see, I get the picture.
Frank: I got an amish.
(pause)
Atheist: Pray, does it preach?
Frank: Nnnnot really.
Atheist: WELL IT'S HARDLY A BLOODY REPLACEMENT, IS IT?!!???!!?
Frank: N-no, I guess not. (gets ashamed, looks at his feet)
Atheist: Well.
(pause)
Frank: (quietly) D'you.... d'you want to come back to my place?
Atheist: (looks around) Yeah, all right, sure.

actions.
Then why are you CONSTANTLY judging, insulting, and demeaning PEOPLE WHO
DISAGREE WITH YOU (calling them atheists as though disagreeing with you is
the same as disagreeing with god)?

For once, you have got something right, we are, very often,
concerned
with improving our selves. We don't want forgivness for our wrong
doing, and mistakes, we want to *avoid* doing wrong, and making
mistakes, and that takes a lot of effort.
Well, there's nothing wrong with wanting forgiveness...or asking for
it,
or
earning it. It's part of the growth process. How can you improve
yourself
if
you don't take care of the loose ends you left as a result of your
previous
screwups?
Other than that, I think that you have a very good point, and it's a
point
that more 'born again Christains' should pay attention to. Being
'saved'
is
NOT like winning a lottery or a Cruise to the Bahamas, it doesn't come
cheap, and we are SUPPOSED to be judging ourselves continually and
improving
our attitudes and our behaviors...
Not only that, but we are supposed to be doing it for EXACTLY the same
reasons atheists do; because it's the right thing to do, not because
we
are
hoping to get extra gold in the heavenly paving...
We are NOT to "judge ourselves continually" for judgement is of the
Lord
ONLY. In fact we are not to judge anyone, but we are only to judge
actions.

because pastor fake is a *****, as well as a *****.
