Science does not 'prove' anything'. They have theories that explain
observations about nature and those theories are subject to change as

them to be labeled 'fact'. None of them have ever claimed to be
'proven'. Evolution is one such, it is a fact, it has happened, it
has been observed both in nature and in the laboratory. The Theory of
Evolution is sciences best explanation to explain that 'fact'.
I like what the President of Boston College asked. "What banged?" I
don't see why people are so afraid to explore the possibilities of the
ID theory.
Noone is afraid to explore the ID possibility. The problem is there is
no "ID theory". Theories are used to explain a grouping of facts.
Saying "it is too complex for nature, therefore it is ID" is not a
theory. It isn't even an hypotheseis.
It's not even close to a theory. ID is a cop-out. It is the easy way out.
It is the equivalent of throwing one's hands in the air and giving up. It
is the scientist, while in middle of an experiment, walking away from
science and resorting to guesswork. It is intellectual defeat. And, worst
of all, it is a falsehood. It is religion attempting to masquerade as
science. Fortunately, its disguise is as effective as one of those
eyeglasses/fake mustache/fake nose combos you find in a dollar store.
