It's right there: the blood maketh an atonement for the soul. It
maketh the atonement. It doth. God said it doth. Notice the word "I"
in there? It refers to God, the person speaking the passage. So God
said it. Are you going to once again deny something that God has said,
thus earning yourself the place in Hell reserved for liars?

Oh, but I forgot: some Christians think the King James Version is not
the Word of God at all. Well then, here's a few more versions:

"...for it is the blood that maketh atonement by reason of the life."
American Standard Bible

"...for it is the blood that makes atonement, by reason of the life."
Revised Standard Version
