My husband went to Catholic school and was taught evolution, not creationism.
That's nice. I went to a Catholic school and was taught both evolution
and creationism.

I went to Catholic school and was taught about the Darwinian theory of
evolution in sophomore Biology and about the Church doctrine of divine
creation in sophomore Religion (which focused on Apologetics), and I
was taught that the theory and the doctrine are rationally compatible.
Of course, this wasn't YEC being taught.
Neither class taught us to *believe* either one, because that's not
teaching. Maybe that's why my knickers are not all in a twist, like
some people on both sides, in this thread.
Believing religious doctrines usually occurs before learning how to
reason upon evidence and think critically; believing scientific
theories usually occurs afterwards. High school sophomores are in
between.
