i am following the dictates of our religion, see below. Now quit
weaving and feigning already and come clean about the commandments,

My religion has no commandments, Frank. Except, perhaps, a general
expectation that I should try to live without causing unnecessary harm or
allowing others to come to harm.
Gods without representing ideals? Of what use are they?
However, that isn't actually written
down anywhere, because as you seem entirely unable to grasp, I have no
religious text; hence no 'reference'.
That makes any academic discussion impossible, for your religion is just
your very own personal and private fantasy.
THAT - coming from you Frank
has to be the laugh of the year !!!
My religion is not yours, Frank,
and it doesn't follow the same pattern. I realise you're unable even to
entertain the concept of any religion that isn't 'Frankian Christianity' -
which is why you persist in calling me an atheist - but regardless of your
blinkered ignorance, there are many of them out there.
If you haven't noticed, I advance Jesus Christ, not myself, as you do.
You have yet to mention whose ideals and example of their realization, you
advocate.
As for trashing other people's beliefs, well, if their beliefs are that
they're in a superior position and that they therefore have the right to
throw their weight around, then yes - you're damn right I'm going to
oppose them, because such people cause a great deal of unjustifiable harm.
Do you have an authority problem, that everything "superior" needs to be
"opposed"? I believe Jesus Christ is "superior" and He is not on record of
perpetrating "a great deal of harm on others", justifiable or not.
Although, I'm still worried about you that you think I'm 'flaming your
person'. In order to do so, Frank, I'd need to be standing next to you
with a can of gasoline and a match. And I still wouldn't do it, even
then. You might represent almost everything I abhor about so-called
'organised' religion, but unlike many of those who think as you seem to
do, I don't believe violence is ever justified in relation to matters of
faith.
I don't represent "organised religion" though I support them in their
non-violent work. I represent the Jesus of the NT Bible, and Him only. Whom
do YOU represent apart from yourself?
