Recently I've had many arguments with Fundamentalists
You can stop with the charade. You /are/ a fundamentalist Christian,
no matter how many times you deny it. Your lies are pretty
transparent.
Atheists on the other hand, try to make faith based statements seem
spurious
because they cannot be logically argued or scientifically proven.
Again, an appeal to ignorance. Do you need /another/ lesson in
critical thinking? Apparently, you do.
To them, all faith based statements are regarded as the mutterings of
madmen.
No, that's not correct, and again you argue fallaciously.
Faith-based "statements" are just that -- and when you and your
religious buddies ask us to PROVE your faith-based statements, you are
engaging in fallacious thinking.
As if
they themselves are incapable of logic fallacies or even faith based
arguments.
Again, you are shifting the burden of proof. You are required to
prove YOUR claims. I am not required to prove YOUR claims. Got it?
However almost all atheistic arguments are in fact, faith based
Nonsense. Where is your evidence?
because no scientific evidence shows that logic overrules or
supplants faith in the human culture.
I see you are still beyond reason.
It's been explained to you many times that your so-called
"faith-based" arguments /lack/ evidence. And, it's been explained to
you many times that WE do NOT have to PROVE your "faith in the human
culture". If you have a claim, you need to prove it. We do not need
to prove your claims.
If you make a claim based on faith, then you are not making a logical
argument. Yet, you continue to claim that your faith-based claims are
logical. You can't have it both ways.
Nor can faith overrule or supplant logic.
Logic does not require faith.
Asking faithful people to be logical or asking logicians to prove
faith
are both idiotic notions.
Then stop pretending to be logical.
It is not a sin or a logical outrage to say: "I believe this."
When someone believes in things without evidence, there is no greater
sin.
Arguments can be made by peppering
the whole with both logic and with faith.
See, you contradicted yourself, AGAIN! That's the problem with
faith-based belief systems. You can't keep track of your
contradictions.
People are not one way or another.
Logical arguments do not require faith.
Logicians have faith in their logic. Spiritual people find logic in
their faiths.
False. Logic has rules, while faith does not. That's why you keep
contradicting yourself all the time.
Now, hypothetically, there's no logical compelling reason to
believe that the universe was NOT made by an intelligent
creator
Bob's claim (like all of Bob's claims) is illogical.
Wrong.
Actually, it's right, and you're wrong.
His claim was that HYPOTHETICALLY there is no LOGICALLY compelling
reason to believe the universe was NOT made by and intelligent
creator.
That statement is an illogical appeal to ignorance.
Bob is asserting that it may be TRUE that the universe was made by an
intelligent creator because it cannot be proven FALSE.
It doesn't matter if it's a hypothesis or not. All you and Bob do is
post fallacies, one after the other.
