First, in this essay, we will look at the
characteristics of the so-called "dry drunk;"
then we will see if they apply to this
individual, our president; and then we
will review his drinking history for the
record. What is the dry drunk syndrome?
"Dry drunk" traits consist of:

* Exaggerated self-importance and pomposity
* Grandiose behavior
* A rigid, judgmental outlook
* Impatience
* Childish behavior
* Irresponsible behavior
* Irrational rationalization
* Projection
* Overreaction

What a perfect description. How did this guy ever get elected? Oh,
that's right, he didn't.

Watch out, or Fred might come after you!

I've given up on them. Might as well argue with duke.

You do nothing but drool, Fred. You and Puke are two peas in a pod.

When you keep trying to support Bush, what do you expect?
You'd be better off supporting the bush between the legs in
my opinion. :) You know, fur pies and tacos. Opening a porno
site, or picking on Clinton and the Whitehouse blowjobs...

I get a kick out of the shrieks and the insults when I simply refuse to
accept the Democratic party line talking points as Gospel. You'd think
that regular posters on alt.atheism would know better than to post
fallacies that they'd never let a theist get away with.

You'd be better off supporting the bush between the legs in

Furburger and thighs, to eat out. :-)

Opening a porno site, or picking on Clinton and the Whitehouse
blowjobs...

Careful there or they'll call you names too.

"Talking points?"
The first time I heard that phrase, it came from the mouth or fingers
of georgann... Make of that what you will... I wonder exactly who
it was that first made that particular phrase popular, do you know?

All's fair in love, war, and politics, and political satire and
politician-bashing, so I've heard... Come election time, those
things can create a real mess...

Not fair to pick on a Democrat and Republican at the same time,
eh? :-)

"Talking points?"

In general it's just a somewhat organized summary of arguments about a
topic.

The first time I heard that phrase, it came from the mouth or fingers
of georgann... Make of that what you will... I wonder exactly who
it was that first made that particular phrase popular, do you know?

Our debate coach back in high school used it. He'd assign a topic and we
had to come up with "talking points" on both sides of the issue that
we'd use as headings on index cards, and then list as many rebuttals as
would fit on the card. Very handy in a live debate, you'd already have
your references to rebut what your opponent said. Unless they came up
with something *really* original.
georgann doesn't quite seem to grasp that part of it or she'd be taking
notes.

You'd think that regular posters on alt.atheism would know better
than to post fallacies that they'd never let a theist get away with.

It gets old fast. Only seven more months of it. Just think how shrill
stoney and Yang will get. :-(

Pickers-on-democrats are underrepresented here; I'm just doing my part
for affirmative action. ;-)
