It would not be unreasonable to argue that the Bush admin is using 9/11 as
a justification for increased secrecy, even if it has nothing to do with
enhancing security.
I worry more about Bush's tendency to use "fringe" science to justify his
ideological views on the environment, public health, etc. It's kind of
like the Terri Schiavo case: if you don't like what 99% of the experts are
saying, go dig up an expert who is willing to support your point of view.
