The FCC was 100% correct in assessing the penalties it did.
No it wasn't.
It was two days before anybody complained. And then the complaints were
coming out of a small, self-appointed group of defenders of the public
morality. Face it, nobody really cared except a small handful of tin pot

Who wants to see her black tit on prime time TV where all our children

Which is the truth of your pretend "outrage." What you want is

You know, unlike you, some of us actually _like_ breasts of the female
variety. (And I figure if an infant can nurse on one, then it's not going
to shatter them to see another when they're a little older.)
Now _back_ into the killfile you go, you silly little wanker.

Children don't care about any such thing until the adults start freaking.
The part that was funniest to me was after the "outrage" of it being
shown, we all had to see the tape over and over and over and over on the
news channels so we could be outraged...

Why do you want to make women think that parts of their bodies are
depraved?
Anyway, perhaps you should see a few ancient greek statues, or a
paintings by Titian (hmm...appropriate name? anyway, i digress)
Maybe you should try watching a few of the post-watershed British
television moments, eg Marc Antony in rome, any of Shameless etc list
goes on
How is seeing an essential part of a woman's body immoral?
Incidentally, it has been proven that those who become so obsessed with
homosexuality they have to deny it all the time are generally repressed
homosexuals themselves.

I was interested in the matchup, so watched the game. But I avoided
all the hype, the six hours of pre-show, and and the half-time fiasco.
This year my wife and I ignored the game and went to the mall, wich
was empty.

I was interested in the matchup, so watched the game. But I avoided
all the hype, the six hours of pre-show, and and the half-time fiasco.
This year my wife and I ignored the game and went to the mall, wich
was empty.
We have ignored the superbowl ***** for 25 years it's a
beautiful Sunday to go any place, that normally is busy.
With all the idiots glued to the boob tube, the world is a
really nice place.

Well, I'm a sports fan, and grew up with the NFL as an important part
of Sundays. So for me camping out on the couch with a supply of beer,
chips, and other munchies is a nice way to cap off the season.
It's all a matter of perspective.

Ah, but it wasn't them. When Congress got itself in a snit, it demanded an
investigation. Seems the FCC discovered that not only were 90%+ of the
complaints from an alleged "Christian" group, they also discovered that
many were made by folks who hadn't even seen what they were complaining
they were offended by.
Why is that surprising? They do what their Sunday church tract tells them to
do. They aren't called 'sheep' for no reason. :)

My GOD!!! There's an American male here!
Merciful Heavens!!! He drinks beer and watches football!
Sakes alive!!! He's either so hetero that breasts don't phase him, or so
queer that breasts don't phase him!

I'm straight and the short boob shot didn't bother me. It was certainly
less offensive to me than Anna Nichole was when she showed up completely
*****-faced on that award's show.

Anna Nicole *****-faced or Not *****-faced isn't much different, either
way. Indeed, it's been hard to tell for about a decade which
condition she's in.
Let's just hope the fight over her late husband's money settles soon,
that she gets some large chunk of it, and can thereafter retire to
only the very occasional shots on cableteevee.

No. She should start the 'Holy Church of Bettie Page' with herself as high
priestess. Now there's a church I can get behind - or in front of - or
something.
If I must support a church via a tax free status I'd rather be screwed by
Anna Nicole than by Henry Hinn. YMMV.

And baseball. And Arena League football.
How about NASCAR. And Champ Car and the IRL?
Never was into motorsports that much. Completely ignored the San Jose
Grand Prix, even though it took place not five miles from here.
Anyone who would Not enjoy the thundering of motors (including those
Not powered by endangered hydrocarbons, as the Champ Car series is),
while simultaneously having the chance to drink beer and peer down
halter tops is in need of a testosterone upgrade.
That's a Very big tradition amongst Murken Males too!
I'm a truck driver. I get more than my fair share of thundering
engines. Just not appealing to me.

Well, truck driving gets you the Big Motor Fix. That's an exception,
though. So long as you get it, you're probably OK.

Who wants to see her black tit on prime time TV where all our children
are watching?
Why did you specify her skin color?
Why not?
And what is your problem with breasts?
I have no problem when they are behind closed doors where they belong.
You let your children watch the half-time show?
I wasn't aware that it would turn into a porn show
We missed it,
prefering to spend halftime eating and discussing the game.
We missed the game and half time show, preferring to have
a picnic at the park, which was empty except for us.
