Christianity is death worship
It's eternal life we're after.
Christianity is a real mind *****. Most religions are similar.
Yes, they dare to tell you that you have to stop being bad.
It's incredible difficult to heal one's self from problems that are not
one-tenth the problem that religion is. Religion is to the mind, what
terminal cancer is to the body.
The only cancer you're suffering from is the cancer of self-pity and refusal
to blame yourself for your actions.

How do you get self pity from condemnation of religion?
Projection perhaps?
In seeking that eternal life Christians often (specially the ones of the
conservative flavor) tend to place less or no value on this life. As far
as Christianity demanding that people not be "bad", it sells the poison
and sells the cure. If you didn't buy the poison you would have no need
or want for a cure. For example, having lustful thoughts are evil (the
poison) so if you have any you must repent (cure). Is there anything
harmful about lustful thoughts? There is no reason to conclude that it
is, unless of course, you purchase a another poison (devils hell .etc)
from the Bible. To be fair there are Christians who do care much for
this life.
