ago might have been his biggest, not error necessarily,
but miscalculation.

When I was a practicing Catholic I would have disagreed with you, because I
was brainwashed, like so many others.
Fortunately the Senate exercised more prudent judgment than I did.
The foolishness of judging a president--not by his performance--but by a
private sexual matter (that really was nobody else's business) seems obvious
to me now, but it sure did not seem so clear back then.
What a waste of half a year! The government virtually shut down as this
impeachment gridlock continued.
And now we learn of hundreds of incidents of sexual abuse by wicked priests,
all across America, and we wonder if we are seeing just the tip of the
iceberg. And the worst fear is that the Church has apparently been
systematically and deliberately protecting those evil men, by transferring
them rather than notifying authorities!
This must have been going on, all around the world, for centuries! And here
we are focusing on what Bill Clinton was doing (consensually) with Monica!
Go figure.
