Less than 50% know what the first book in the bible is.
75% believe that the bible contains "God helps those who help themselves."
Evangelical Christian fares just "slightly" better than non evangelicals.
Of course this ignorance is only indicative of the general decline in the
public's cultural and civic knowledge. Only 30% could name even one of the
rights protected by the first amendment.
A very recent poll put 90% of teachers (UNION) as Liberals.
