i read Fahrenheit 451 back in 6th grade - required reading back then.
i'm still not sure that Bradbury is a right-wing hack. maybe he just
really has something against Moore, or something. who knows? clearly,
even had Bradbury not said a word, the comparison would have been drawn
by anyone who ever read the book; it was the first thing i thought when
i heard about Moore's film: "how clever!"
It could even have been a good ploy to get another generation of
Americans to read Bradbury's 451 book. }:-} Bradbury got free
advertising, too.
