Well, the truth is out about me, and it is not pleasant.

It seems that I am a "right wing nut job" for whom hell awaits, my
writing a "hate-filled, drooling, ignorant rant."

That's not all - I am "blinded by hatred and fear," no better than

hypocritical Pharisee, judging others" when I should be examining

own "hateful behavior, discerning its cause, and rooting it out" of

All that for telling the truth.

My great sin, in the eyes of gentle soul who authored the lovely

above, was to assert that homosexuality and Christianity are
incompatible.

In today's popular American culture, where the worst thing one can

called is intolerant (unless one is intolerant of true

President Bush, conservative principles, and Ann Coulter, which is
acceptable), homosexuals have become our most pampered, pandered-to

protected sub-culture.

The homosexual agenda is focused, relentless, and highly

has succeeded in making immoral sexual behavior acceptable to half

population. It has succeeded in introducing homosexuality to our
children, even those in grade school. It has succeeded in causing
enormous harm to the Boy Scouts - the Scouts, for crying out loud!

And now, it is attempting to pervert the church. One might think

homosexuals have been successful in this regard because of the

(and scandalous) elevation of an openly homosexual Episcopalian

engaged in an illicit love affair with a man after having left his
wife, to bishop.

However, you must remember that those in the church who are

to make homosexuality acceptable are at best misguided and at worst
what Scripture calls tares, nearly indistinguishable from wheat and
sown in an enemy's fields in ancient times to ruin his harvest.

Of tares and wheat, Jesus said: "Let both grow together until the
harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers,

gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them,

gather the wheat into my barn.'"

The person referenced above says that his relationship "is not a

of my sin. It is a glorious gift from God. God did not call me to

a life of celibacy. He called me to share the gifts and love that I
have with one special person. Since that person also happens to be

good Christian man, I count myself blessed."

Blessed by whom? Here is what God says in the first chapter of

relationships are a good and healthy thing. Apparently our
letter-writer thinks so. Regarding marriage, he says that "The
definitions of marriage - like acceptance of slavery - have changed
over time. Polygamy was perfectly acceptable when the Bible was

written, so the whole argument of 'God said it was one man and one
woman' is inaccurate, at best."

Those determined to do what they will and find Scripture opposing

have this endemic habit of assuring us hide-bound Bible-thumpers

all of the translations done over the past 2000 years are
