Hunger is wonderful :-)
It's how we know what GOD wants, which is what is good.
Yes, hunger is our knowledge of good versus evil that Adam and Eve
paid for with their and our immortal lives.
Be hungry... be healthy... be hungrier... be blessed:

I just started to 'play diabetic' to get my blood sugar checked. When
I was a fat kid I was pre-diabetic, so I like to check my sugar every
few years to stay mindful of any changes.
I used to be able to get test for free at the drug store, but they
quit. Have not had blood tested for 4 or 5 years, so had to buy an
electronic meter and papers as the cheapest way to test it. Cost $45
for the package, so was not too bad.
Also tested wife and kid. Wife was 95 after a day of eating, kid was
85. I used to be able to buy papers and pee on em for $9 or so to
test blood sugar, but they are extinct...cost $30 for full spectrum
pee papers.
My blood sugar ranges from 125 at the end of the day and eating ice
cream and cobbler and lots of other sugar to 80 in the morning when I
get up after a nights fast. It averages about 105 to 110.
I can say exercise helps lower the blood sugar. Mine drooped 10 points
after a half hour of jogging and aerobic walking, as I made it a point
to check it before and after hard exercise.
Poor diabetics they are supposed to check the sugar before eating and
after eating EACH meal. The papers cost about a buck a test. Then some
of em have to inject insulin throughout the day.
Oh well, we each have our problems. Maybe they can digest some meat
and oil, whereas I have problems with meat and oil and many other
foods. One couple I knew in L.A. said they had to wake up their
daughter to inject insulin a couple times a night...very tough biz.
Good luck to all you diabetics.
Take care,
