Ahem, no. It's religion that says you avoid going to hell by killing
those who disagree with you (ie, heretics and those who teach another
religion).
And those who don't kill because they believe a god is watching them
are the most dangerous because as soon as they don't believe in said
god, or believe he is telling them to kill, they will go on a killing
rampage with no conscience.
As is typical you are confusing actual religious doctrines with the
actions of those that simply use religion as an excuse to kill.
No, I'm talking about those who base their decision on whether to kill
or not on their belief in god. If he tells them to kill then they will
kill. If he tells them not to kill then they won't kill. History shows
us the danger of this.
