are between them paying income taxes as single people and therefore are
paying at a higher rate than we married folks are.
Has it never occurred to you that, by your account, those homosexual or
lesbian couples could say the exact same thing about you and your wife as
you've said about them. To get to the crux of what you've said, if you
don't want your tax dollars to support a relationship you don't approve
of, I can think of no part of our law that deprives them of having the
exact same views about supporting all of those heterosexuals who, by some
accounts, are responsible for four in every ten children being brought
into this world in our country being without fathers. In my day, we would
have said that 40% of our newborns were literally bastards, and they might
just as easily disapprove of spending their tax dollars to support the
results of those illegitimate unions between heterosexuals.
Surely what's fair is fair....maybe you need to find a way to get down off
your high horse and find some tolerance for others who may have made
different choices than you and your wife did.
