Atheists don't bother hating God - they don't have to, since they

a little challenge to your status quo? Too bad, deal with it.

HAHAHAHA! Is that what you refer to the dismantling of the US as we know it,
"A little challenge to your status quo"? LOL!

Your status quo has only been around since 1954 - the idea is to
restore the pledge to it's original secular state as it was written by
a pastor who worked hard to be sure it was secular.

To be fair, the pledge has been around for only 100-110 years. The
status quo before that was no pledge, and for longer than the pledge
has existed. So ... which status quo do you prefer? ;-)

If you think the US government is religous, then yeah, I'm for
dismantling that misinformation. It's not and never has been. The
vary basis and strength of our democracy and it's bill of rights was
it's carefull withholding of lending of the government's power to any
religion.

I'm sorry you seem to have such a narrow view that you can't see the
value in protecting our bill of rights and our constitution.

You won't quit until the US resembles some backward third world country
that's devoid of any morals or values.

Third world countries are based on religion and are completely
corrupt. India makes itself 3rd world because they won't practice
birth control and control their population. Religion lends itself to
corruption because religion says that common people are not supposed
to question their leaders.

Great Galloping Generalizations! Not all religions are like that.

That's why the current administration
pushing religion. They have already admitted they want to use it to
cut the power of the common citizen. You, like an idiot are falling
for the 'morality' excuse. Your idea of morality is only that of a
subgroup of citizens in this country.

I'm not impressed with the morality of a group that bullys the rest of
us, by insisting that their religion be branded on ~our~ pledge and
then whines no end about how abused they are because the rest of us
object.

Who's bullying who? YOUR the one trying to CHANGE the status quo. You just
said so yourself, KATE.

A bunch of congressmen in the 50's changed the status quo and set up
the bullying - you in your intellectual dishonesty are furthering it.
Feel good about that? You shouldn't.

And what is the problem you have with my name? Are you trying to
express your hate against me? It worked - I'm not going to take you
as seriously with you playing that game.

If you think I love abortions, then you lose. Unlike the
conservatives who just want to punish women, I put my money and time
where my concerns are and help women to be able to make the decision
to carry a pregnancy to term. That's the only moral way to save
fetuses. Laws don't save fetuses, caring does.

For the record, I'm against making any laws outlawing abortion. I'm for
plainly defining it as what it is, MURDER. It's a way to shirk responsiblity
for one's actions. No wonder the liberals like it.

Good - I'm glad you are against making laws. Go ahead and express
your opinion, I have no problem with that. That is how minds should
be changed and responsibility taken. Liberals know you can't
legislate responsibility - all you can do is try to provide support
and counseling so the most humane decision can be made by the woman
herself, who is the one who is taking the chance with her health and
body and will have to bear the responsibility of a child for the next
18 years. Conservatives want to force things by punishing everyone -

Another blanket statement. This is not true of all conservatives.

all that does is send women to the dark alleys to have an illegal
abortion and then you have dead fetuses and dead women.

OK, let me narrow that - faith based religion say that common people
are not supposed to question their leaders - they are supposed to have
'faith'.

In spite of the massive amounts of evidence showing their leaders (like
clergy) (small generality alert) can't be trusted.
