Of course, people want an exact time and an exact date, but none is

So it is with the second coming of Christ. No time, no date, but you
have a plethora of media choices to keep abreast of world events. If
you have no time for such news study, just keep your eyes on
Jerusalem.
If you don't do that, and you're comfortable with the "who knows when"
stuff, then, according to Jesus, you're a hypocrite. And to such
people, the Lord will indeed come as a "thief in the night."
Even on an individual basis, you needn't be caught by surprise. You
should always be ready for the time when the Lord calls you. As a
group, that would be the Rapture, and again, you should be ready.
(Looks like I'll never meet Bilbo or Uncle Vic, etc.) :-)

Sometimes people throw things out of windows, off of rooftops, even shoot
guns in the air. Are you prepared, padre?

There's a better chance of getting hit on the head by falling debris than
there is of a Second Coming of Jesus, especially in light of what the
bible says about Jesus' return within the lifetimes of his desciples, and
*those who pierced him*.
