What you are talking about has nothing to do with religion.

Christ

spoke

only in parables, full of psychological symbolism and metaphor, and

only

"fundamentalist" atheist "morons", who are perceptually and

philosophically

challenged and are proud of it, can't understand any of it. See

below

Whether Christ spoke only in parables or not I do not know. But the

Bible

contains more than what Jesus said. I am pretty sure about what I

said

concerning night and day. And yes reasonable interpreters of the

Bible

recognize such is not to be taken literally - it is meant as a sort of
'parable' to illustrate a point. They are of the type completely

removed

from issues such as if the earth is flat; the title of this thread ie

they

are concerned with faith being required to take you beyond the

assumptions

any theory must by its very nature inevitably have (of course that

such is

required is an issue - but a religious one - nothing to do with

science).

This again is an example of my contention - a correct evaluation of
religious issues always leads to areas irrelevant to science.

That is what I have been saying all along: Science doesn't deal with
values and the inerrancy of religion only concerns values. Whether

something

is good or evil, glorious or inglorious, etc. etc. cannot be termined

by

science, but is the sole concern of religion.

Note 'the height of arrogence'.
Good and evil are recognised by man in all walks of life - the control,
evidence of and accusation of, the forgiving of good and evil are also up

to

man, to claim they are the sole concern of religion is balderdash.

Religion

hijacked good and evil as part of it's promotional con. program - pure and
simple.
Next thing you idiots will be telling us there are no evil Christians!
How childish you get!!!!

You are proselytizing atheism again in our pristine Christian NGs.
Please post atheist doctrine and flames to atheist and flame NGs.
"arrogance" indeed!!!!! I will post you over to them.

In our last episode
<1106233152.dbe820a6b411dca7f8dcb84b0442e1c1@teranews>, Pastor Frank lept
out of the bushes shouting:

You are proselytizing atheism again in our pristine Christian NGs.
Please post atheist doctrine and flames to atheist and flame NGs.
"arrogance" indeed!!!!! I will post you over to them.

You mean you'll start massive cross posting, blaming someone else for you
own behavior...

Strange that you didn't trim the other groups, Frank. Oh, and BTW, can you
explain the difference between a newsgroup and a pristine newsgroup?

Hi Vic,
I may be able to help here. PF is one of these guys who gets all upset
when things don't go his way. There MUST be something in his world that
is pure and clean because deep down in his psyche he knows or at least
suspects the truth, that no one can get into heaven on the shirt-tails
of another person. That's right Frank, there really is no way for you to
be clothed in the righteousness of another as the Pauline lie suggests.
That's why its such a popular faith - something for nothing.
