I agree with you, Gabriel's out to spread misinformation in attempts
to persuade... Unfortunately, that tactic is rampant (as rampant as
say, jumping from initial state to final state with hackneyed
distortions and misunderstandings, e.g. natural selection says
molecules-to-humans or the favorite tornado through a junkyard creates
a jumbojet analogy.) What's a shame is that these attempts work. Not
only that, scientists are by and large at a consensus on evolution
(they don't know it all or all the details but agree they're on the
right idea and path via evidence), etc which means there is no
controversy. Yet, the creationists are able to drum up enough interest
and propaganda to make it seem as though there is a controversy - at
least in the minds of those naive enough to buy it (which appears to
be many throughout the US). Thus, we will now be subjected to even
more of it - including the junk science expose and deceptive
mockumentary that is "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed"...

Half the time, I'm tired of the same old arguments, but on the other
hand, its even more disheartening to me to let the distortion continue
unchallenged and soaked up by the lesser knowledgeable.
