it's because they're cowards; they're afraid to be called a name for
opposing homosexual behavior.

*maybe*, it's because they're brave enough to stand up against the

But don't use the Lord to justify your behavior because the Bible
plainly states God doesn't abide homosexuality. That's not simply a
politically incorrect opinion, it is a fact supported by lots of
Scripture.
Who gives a flying bag of monkey scat what Leviticus and Romans say
about homosexuality? Anyone who's actually read the damned thing knows
that they're full of Bronze Age superstitions that's completely ignored
today, even by the most vehement God-frothers. We've all heard the
sideburns/menses laws of Levit, so why even bother claiming that God
says anything against gays? The chapters containing the statements are
so rambling and random that their context could mean virtually
anything.
Homosexuals will have to find another crutch besides the Bible on
which
to rest their broken consciences.
Hopefully they'll follow the majority of society and care little about
what that particular book says.

I wasn't aware that either of those two books said anything about
homosexuality. It would have been a neat trick since there are no ancient
Hebrew or Greek words for the concept. Only those ignorant of ancient
customs or context would think that, especially if they relied on
translations which are purposely misleading and have not learned to read
the texts themselves, nor the hundreds (or thousands) of alternate
manuscripts and fragments.
