They may have been ignorant of evil and the difference between good and
evil, but they certainly KNEW what OBEDIENCE to God was, and what He
commanded them, so they ARE responsible for that choice, NO matter, who or
what tempted them otherwise.
They couldn't know what obedience was unless God told them and nowhere in
the bible does it state that he told them what obedience meant.
I mean, these were the first people, they had no experience whatsoever, God
should have protected them, like we would do with a baby, or any animal will
defend it's young.
No moral person would knowingly leave an innocent, naive person(s) alone to
fend for themselves against an evil talking snake! Would they?
There minds were like a blackboard whipped clean, they were ready, willing
and able to learn if only God had thought to teach them instead of deceiving
them.
You understand this, don't you Dore!
You wouldn't have left your own daughter out on the street alone to be
influenced by a stranger, would you?

listen to him, and kicks them around as slaves.

dont expect God to blunder. God planned everything. God planned that the
fruit was to be eaten and the blame to be put on the eater and consequently
all Mankind to take the responsibility.
No, God would have been perfectly happy if Adam and Eve PASSED the test that
He gave them and they NEVER ate of the fruit. Just as pleased if YOU would
resist temptation and pass your testing when it comes.
